Still can't d/l Destiny with the free game code provided with the latest bundle deal.
All I get is 'Undefined'. Searching the web, it seems like everyone else is having this problem.

I've had both consoles for the past 3 generations and I've always said XBL>>>>>>>PSN.

My boys are so excited to play Destiny and yet here were are nearly 5 days after Christmas morning and still no Destiny.

I'm seriously considering returning this bundle and getting an XB1.
I really hope Sony does something to make up for the major ineptitude of their online services.

I don't blame them for the attack, but considering XBL has been up for days now while PSN is still addressing issues does not give me with any confidence that Sony can provide a solid online experience.

I'm starting to worry the Christmas break will come and go and my kids still won't have access to Destiny.

Not only did I change the MTU last night to 1473, I also did the DNS change as well. Every game and PSN work beautifully now (since last night).

Just did this and it connected right away. I was able to get online for a bit the past couple of days, but when I signed out it was a crap shoot whether or not I'd get back on or not.

What do you guys do when your PS4 is not in used? Do you put it on Standby or turn it Off? I think the PS3 only had a Standby option - which was more like the Off mode on the PS4 (which is what I used). For the PS4 I always turn it off when I'm done with it.

Does turning it On again have any negative effect on the PS4, compared to entering/exiting Standby mode?

I only put it in rest if I'm charging a controller/headset or downloading something.

Yeah, it makes sense. But with the different options they add for Standby, it's almost like they encourage users to leave it on Standby.

I was just wondering, because when it comes to computers some people say it's better to leave it "sleeping" rather than turning it off and on (I don't know if it's true, and I personally turn if off when I go to bed). I thought it may be true for the PS4 as well.

Did you call customer support? I am getting a PS4 with a free game code, too (I'll be going with 2K15), but have heard that people haven't been able to access the webpage needed to get the PSN code.

Too bad you couldn't just directly enter the code into the PS Store and you are then taken to a screen with the four games and you click the one you want to purchase. Not sure why an extra step was added.

I leave it on Rest mode so I can turn it on via Remote Play if I need to.

One last question: I usually charge the controller connecting to my PC. Is there an indication of how much time/power bar lines - until it's fully charged. I've read that it would stop blinking orange, but is there a way to know what percentage of the bar is complete or something like that?

PS: I wish there was a way to turn the light bar off. Waste of power.

I usually charge the controller with a AC adapter. It seems to charge just faster

I finally decided to upgrade my hard drive. After getting 3 games for Christmas, and only 40 GB of space left, it was definitely time to upgrade to a 2 TB. Hopefully I install it right. Lol

The hardest part for me was downloading that update thing. Took me a few tries to get it right for some reason.
