PlayStation 4 Discussion

I was interested until I read that it wasn't 60 fps which makes no sense for a remaster. Ended up buying it on pc.

I try to approach it in a stealth way but I end up killing everyone in bold ways almost right away

I picked up Dishonored: Definitive edition for like 12 bucks at GS. I'm really enjoying it. I know it's a port of the PS3 version, not a remaster, but it still looks and runs pretty smooth me.

It's not a straight port. They upped the textures, resolution, and color for the PS4 edition. It's basically on par with what the PC version was.Having played both, the PS4 game is certainly a step above.

Right, I that's how I read it from the IGN review. It's just not a remaster in the Gears of War, Last of Us, God of War, Uncharted Collection style. I guess I should have said its more like a port of the PC version. Like the IGN guy said, it looks like what a "decent gaming PC" was doing with the game 3 years ago, except with longer load times.

Not saying it looks bad.

I'm really enjoying the game, for 12 bucks it's a treat and now I know what to look for in the sequel.

A new PSN Flash Sale has begun, discounting a variety of games across PS4, PS3, and Vita.

Just over 100 games in all are included, and the discount prices are available to all PSN members--not just Plus subscribers. There doesn't appear to be any particular theme for this sale, as there sometimes is. That means there's quite the wide range of deals, all of which can be had for no more than $5.

On PS4, Super Mega Baseball, The Jackbox Party Pack (1 and 2), and Transistor are $5 each. PS3 owners can get the Hitman HD Trilogy for $4 or Red Dead Redemption for $4.49. On Vita, Persona 3 Portable is only $5 (also on PSP) and Hitman Go is only $3.19 (also on PS4).

A number of the included games feature Cross-Buy support, letting you buy them on one platform and play them on multiple systems. These include Sound Shapes ($4, PS4/PS3/Vita), Grim Fandango Remastered ($4.49, PS4/Vita), Journey ($4.49, PS4/PS3), and Rogue Legacy ($4.24, PS4/PS3/Vita).

The PlayStation Blog hasn't yet shared a full list of deals, but you can see everything on sale right on the PlayStation Store. These sales prices are available from now until Monday, May 23.

Last night, before actually opening an app on the PS4, I dozed off on the couch. I was probably out for 3 hours. When I woke up, the PS4 was extremely hot and had locked up. I eventually had to unplug the PS4 and when I rebooted, everything is fine now.

One thing I did notice is the Digitial Audio Output button is now red. I'm honestly not sure if it's always been that way (my audio runs through HDMI) or if it was caused by the overheating/freeze last night.

Anyone have any experience with that digital light and it is something I should be concerned about leading to bigger issues?

I've had PS+ for two years already I have never taken advantage of the monthly free games. Since NBA 2k16 is the free game for June, I have a question about how it works. If I download the game, do I get to play it just in the month of June or will I have it for as long as I have PS+?

You will have it as long as you have PS+. It just like any game in your library that you purchased in regards to playing them, you just need an active PS+ subscription to play it.

Ha kidding. I always feel irked when there is a game that I've already purchased and suddenly comes out free. I might as well return my copy of NBA 2K16 to BBY though if I can get this one for free though, right? No harm there.

Probably about time I try a God of War game, as well. I've played the others, but I haven't owned any at this point. Good way to dust off the Vita when it comes to actual Vita gaming (as opposed to just Remote Play).
