Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't know man. I'm just not seeing enough with some of the vids that are popping up. As some have stated it could be a case of judging for yourself.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I just canceled mines today. I usually jump on the latest technology that comes out but there's just not enough of an improvement to shell out $400. I really think the problem lies with them having to cater to the base PS4 as well. I know a few games have already come out with patches or working on them but I really wonder how much of an effort developers are going to put into utilizing all the power that the Pro has.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
4K been out since 2003. The 1st monitors started popping up around 2008 or 2009. Youtube been having 4K videos since 2010. Youtube now supports 8K and 4K HDR videos. 4K TV sets been around the same time as the PC monitors. 5K been around since 2008. First 5K TV and PC monitor came out in 2014.
HDR came out earlier this year. As of now, out of all the tv's Best Buy sells, only 65 are HDR. With most of them being 55" or bigger.
Really 2003 that long? That doesn't sound right. Could you only buy them at some places? That is odd I heard nothing about 4k in till 11 years after 2003 like 2014 and I thought 1080p didn't even come out in till like 2005. I have heard nothing about 5k only 8k and I have never heard about youtube having 8k only 4k. I thought HDR came out last year not this year? Best buy does have some 4k Tv's under 65 even under 50 though.Last edited by Smallville102001; 11-08-2016, 01:07 AM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just playing Devil's Advocate here... Sony has already made it clear that there won't be any Pro specific or Pro only titles allowed. Visual clarity and color upgrades are great, but outside of 4K and HDR, what else exactly will make games that support Pro "kick butt"?Comment

Youtube have had 8K video since the summer of 2015. Hell if you have a 360 camera you can upload 360 video to Youtube as well.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
One thing we have to remember is that these are the first titles coming to the pro. I'm sure as time will pass they'll get a lot better just like they did on the base PS4.

Yep that long. Those tvs were well north of $25,000 back then and mostly for the elite of the elite . But hey you got 4K curved TVs right now that cost $20,000 that are 88".

While I am sure any tv that is really big is going to cost a lot even if it was not something kind of new like 4k or 8k. I didn't know about the 360 videos either. I don't know that things always cost a lot more at first. But where those 4k TV's back in 2003 only in special places to buy or something? I tried to watch that 8k video but I couldn't my internet kept having issues when trying to watch that video.Comment
