Crazy to think it is just under 3 weeks in till PlayStation experience. This is the 3erd year for this right? What are you hoping to see and or hear about? The only thing I am really asking for is to see and hear more about Spider-Man. I hope we get a new trailer and a hands on demo of the game. Out side of that I don't really have any thing. TLG comes out just a few days after so I don't really need to hear any thing at that point about the game and Horizon is only a few months after the experience and I fell like we have enough information to where we don't really need to see any thing more.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Regarding PS4Pro and 4kHDR I had an interesting experience. After I got my PS4Pro I purchased an LG 4ktv with HDR Pro as part of a Best Buy early black Friday deal. After monkeying around with HDMI port settings on the TV, I have my setup working in 4k with full HDR support. However, I was directly connecting the HDMI cable from the PS4 to the TV.
I traditionally have all of my sources running through a Pioneer receiver via HDMI and then out to a projector that is only 1080P. I see that while my Pioneer is not a high end receiver, it does say it supports 4k. So I hook it up and run through it and lo and behold the PS4Pro now detects my TV as 4k but only HDR capable at 2k. So I fire up NBA 2k17 expecting it to run at 4k with no HDR but the PS4 pops up and says "it has been detected that your TV only supports HDR at 2k, therefore this game will run at 2k with HDR". All I could do was click "ok".
So I am expecting to be disappointed with the image quality but lo and behold once the actual game starts I see no aliasing or jagged edges anywhere. Quite honestly I couldn't tell that it wasn't 4k at all. It was just for about 10 minutes but I thought it looked great....
Now when I hit the info button on my TV and it says "1080p" instead of "2160P" I was like, "uh....no. We ain't having that!" So I have decided to roll with using an optical cable to my surround system and use HDMI directly to the TV.
Isn't it weird how fast our expectations change? Just one week ago 1080P gaming on a TV was the holy grail. Now....I have to see that magic "2160P" or I feel like I am missing something!Comment

Which is a problem that will be resolved. It's new hardware. You've been gushing out various games for a week, but now because one patch has an issue, you want to pack up shop and go home? Doesn't make any sense.
And water is wet. They flip out about everything.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Well, parity is what was promised. Not sure anyone was really unhappy about it at the time but now the time has come for them to enforce that.
I wonder if they'd not allow Rocket League to be improved on the Pro since it's cross-platform and plays against much better-performing PC versions.Comment

If Sony thinks the improvements are too good and too stable, then that would be a disappointment.Comment

Not only that but Digital Foundry showed a video where the pro version ran a lot more consistent at 60fps vs the standard ps4 during online multiplayer. If Dice is holding back the pro in order to accommodate standard PS4 owners there's no reason to own a pro. This is highly upsetting if true..
