I would be shocked if they show Spider Man. A good gameplay video of TLG is expected as is the DLC for Uncharted 4. Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay video is also expected. Not expecting to see anything else that was shown at E3 from Sony first parties mainly because PSX is meant to be a "fan experience", not an E3 type event.

I would be surprised if we don't see Spider-Man at this thing because it has been teased and I just think it would be a good time for a update on it even if it is just a new trailer but no hands on type of thing.

Battlefield 1 dev says their aware and looking into the issue with the latest patch and the Pro.

Question....

I had this tv....Bought it at Costco (luckily)....AMAZING picture quality and really like the OS....But I noticed one thing that I could not overlook as a factory defect. The back bezel of the TV comes off because it is not screwed in but attached by 'tape'....After returning the tv, I went to the display units and found the same issue....Was wondering if you have the same issue....

If it didn't have this known defect, I would have kept it!

i heard of that issue on the ks8000 but not the curved 8500

Hmmm, I think you have this wrong. Games are downgraded when ported to consoles, NOT PC. Games are developed on PC and then ported to consoles. Not the other way around. Not to mention the fact that how can any PC game be downgraded when you have all the options and setting to customize how you want to play that's not available on PC? Seriously, I have never ever read or heard a game on PC being downgraded because of consoles. And if anything, makes no sense as it would defeat the purpose of playing on PC.

I went ahead and bought the KS8000 because my girlfriend is buying me a Pro for my birthday on Monday. Really disappointing news about BF1 as it's my number 1 played game right now besides 2K. Hopefully FIFA and WD2 take advantage of the Pro hardware.

I went ahead and bought the KS8000 because my girlfriend is buying me a Pro for my birthday on Monday. Really disappointing news about BF1 as it's my number 1 played game right now besides 2K. Hopefully FIFA and WD2 takes advantage of the Pro hardware.

They already did...Fifa boosted resolution to 4K and it looks real nice and Tomb Raider boosted the resolution as well on the PRO

BF1 was downgraded in the multi but not campaign....We will see if this was just a mistake or they did it under peoples noses to not upset the ps4 vanilla base who would have a 20fps per second gap...

We shall see

So was at a friends house got back home and just put in the new hard drive had a issue getting the software thing at first but now downloading onto system. I am going to put in all my games in the system so I can start to reinstall all my games and patches and going to redownload my dlc from batman and drive club and that is really just about all the dlc I do have. After I do that I am just going to put the system into sleep mode and let ever thing download and hopefully in a few days ever thing will be installed has I find even a like 5gb patch can take a long time. I have not had any time to play video games in about 3 weeks with school, work and trying to keep up on sports. I still have about 3 games backed up on my dvr got work tomorrow and church group and I am about to do home work for the next hour or so and then go to bed. By sat I should have time to play video games and should have my new tv hopefully by then ever game will be back onto my hard drive and the patches and ever thing.

im at the point where i dont feel confident in ANY platform pc,ps4 or xbox one

im staying away from the fidelity forums for awhile too

I could care less about a 4k now

all rumors and ppl expereinces point to the fact that 4k just aint there yet and if it is you gotta spend 2000 grand for which for me isnt happening

I felt the same way but I did snag a decent 4k HDR 50" TV for $399 (normally $699) last week because I caved to the pressure of the PS4 Pro reviews. I don't regret it at all because I got into it at such a low price point. The beauty is that I get to experience 4k and HDR without feeling to guilty about the money.

My biggest concern is I had my entire setup in my basement/man cave running through Receiver to a 1080P 3d projector shooting nearly a 100" image on a screen. It was only 1080 but it really held up well for sports gaming where I like to play with full views of the field.

Now I have my PS4 running to the UHD TV separately and it really is killing the mojo of the area. It is nowhere near as clean and neat now and I do miss the size of the screen but there was no way I could afford to invest in the larger Samsungs a this point.

Where do you see experiences that 4K not worth it....That is B.S

PS4 Pro and Scorpio are not the main reason to get a 4K set

The more you talk, the more you expose that you don't know what your are talking about. Witcher 3, Dragon Age, Dark Souls, many UBIsoft titles, and plenty more games are developed with console as the baseline. They don't develop a "PC version" then downgrade it so it runs well on the console. Instead they will develop to the medium, which in this case Xbox1/PS4 then PC will get same version. They don't suddenly unlock the games full potential and UPGRADE it for PC. It has happened but its surely isn't the norm, its far more likely to have the game developed with consoles in mind. I've suffered through my fair share of downgraded PC titles due to them being console focused. I'd much rather companies develop with the PC coming first then downgrading to consoles but that isn't going to happen.

Please stop acting as if you know about PC gaming. Its clear to see in your last several posts you have blinders on when it comes to anything outside of Sony.

Here is recent example of PC looking same as consoles.


Side Note: Its was also locked at 30 fps on PC when it released due to its Console porting to PC.

Mafia 3 is locked to a framerate of 30FPS on PC, which is not something the Master Race considers acceptable when their machines are more than capable of hitting 60 FPS or even much, much higher.
