Games have been downgraded for years on PC to hit console specs.

It's gonna happen to Pro/Scorpio games too. Time to move on, nothing to see here.

Yea PC is downgraded to meet console standards...But is usually done before the damm game is released to the public.

Now when I hit the info button on my TV and it says "1080p" instead of "2160P" I was like, "uh....no. We ain't having that!" So I have decided to roll with using an optical cable to my surround system and use HDMI directly to the TV.

Isn't it weird how fast our expectations change? Just one week ago 1080P gaming on a TV was the holy grail. Now....I have to see that magic "2160P" or I feel like I am missing something!

I had to do the exact same thing with my Pioneer receiver. I think the issue is the TV and the Pro are running HDMI 2.0 where as our receiver is HDMI 1.4. Now it's time to upgrade the receiver.

Guys do not get trigger happy and try to buy a 4K set just when you see a good deal. Those bundled tvs with consoles all suck and are not worth it

Think and do your research and waste your money on something worthwhile

Remember that this is likely the tv you will rock with for a while.

That Sony is garbage and not worth it for gaming

Horrible contrast and greyish blacks not to mention it has NITS in the 400's only which makes it terrible

Input lag in game mode is 31 as well as HDR game mode so is decent at best in terms of input lag

If you want to play shooters online and the Show with timing mechanics do not settle for 31ms of input lag when there are other options for less or about same that has superior input lag

Can you suggest a specific TV that would be a good Pro/Scorpio compatible model.

Any Samsung this year 2016 from the KU6300 and up

They are all excellent for gaming. If you want a top notch tv for gaming and movie watching and sports then anything from KS8000 and up to the KS9800 which is very pricey

The KS8000 or the curved version 8500 are the two most popular versions for gamers that gives you great gaming and overall tv watching tv

Just do not buy the 60 inch version of the KS8000 as that has a Sharp panel and not a Samsung panel

Hmmm, I think you have this wrong. Games are downgraded when ported to consoles, NOT PC. Games are developed on PC and then ported to consoles. Not the other way around. Not to mention the fact that how can any PC game be downgraded when you have all the options and setting to customize how you want to play that's not available on PC? Seriously, I have never ever read or heard a game on PC being downgraded because of consoles. And if anything, makes no sense as it would defeat the purpose of playing on PC.

Hopefully more info/videos of Ghost Recon: Wildlands... Game is going to be 2017 GOTY!

Didn't know they where even making that game. I think 2017 GOTY will end up being either Zelda or Horizon though.

Mine should arrive today. Finally. Now I can actually install it and transfer everything from my ps4 to the pro so I can actually start using it...

There are a lot of articles online about how to switch out the hard drive and transfer all of the information. Here is one of them:

Can any one lead me to the right spot to download what needs to be download for changing a hard drive? You have to have the newest firmware update and something else right? I don't need to deactivate my psn account right? Just save my game saves on a USB stick, get the firmware update and the other data thing and I am good to go right?

Crazy to think it is just under 3 weeks in till PlayStation experience. This is the 3erd year for this right? What are you hoping to see and or hear about? The only thing I am really asking for is to see and hear more about Spider-Man. I hope we get a new trailer and a hands on demo of the game. Out side of that I don't really have any thing. TLG comes out just a few days after so I don't really need to hear any thing at that point about the game and Horizon is only a few months after the experience and I fell like we have enough information to where we don't really need to see any thing more.

I would be shocked if they show Spider Man. A good gameplay video of TLG is expected as is the DLC for Uncharted 4. Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay video is also expected. Not expecting to see anything else that was shown at E3 from Sony first parties mainly because PSX is meant to be a "fan experience", not an E3 type event.

I had this tv....Bought it at Costco (luckily)....AMAZING picture quality and really like the OS....But I noticed one thing that I could not overlook as a factory defect. The back bezel of the TV comes off because it is not screwed in but attached by 'tape'....After returning the tv, I went to the display units and found the same issue....Was wondering if you have the same issue....

If it didn't have this known defect, I would have kept it!
