Lol, she was going to buy a One, but she didn't like any of the bundles and was interested in Horizon. She didn't realize it was a Sony exclusive.

I then got her to consider the Ps4, but she never liked the old dual shock controller so I showed her the current one for ps4 and she says it's alright. Additionally I had just put a new firecuda 2tb hdd in it on March 5th, which I would leave in there for her.

Wasn't done yet, wrong button lol .

So I got my Pro, gave her the new controller, the ps4 and got Horizon for her.

And I should add I never took the money. Lol

I am using my PS4 for the first time in almost a year and can not download the new update. For some reason, when I test my connection it says that everything is fine (70-80% signal strength).

I have tried to automatically connect and tried to manually do it as well.

Anyone had any issues similar to this?

I have not.

However, if you're asking how to download the update, can you try it by downloading the update to a USB?

I suppose we can "resolve" the connection issue later, if the update is the largest concern. You can download it from here:

Having a wired issue since hooking up my Pro Friday night. It definitely could be a coincidence though.

When I turn my PS4 on, it seems to trigger something and knocks the internet out for every device and then I have to reboot router. Happened about an hour into me using my PS4 Pro. Although I was able to play BF1 yesterday with no issues as soon as I turned on my Pro today, internet went out.

Anyone else have this issue or know what I could do?

I took advantage of the Gamestop promo and traded in my OG PS4 this evening for the Pro. I still have my 46 inch 1080p 3D Samsung set but am still looking forward to the improvements that the Pro will provide. Watching Wrestlemania right now but will probably jump on later tonight.

They were giving $170 for original PS4 plus a $25 dollar bonus if you were a powerup rewards pro member and purchased new hardware when trading in old hardware. So I traded in two games and my original system and still did a one year warranty and spent $230.

I'm not sure on how long they'll offer that value on the trade. . I know the 25 dollar part ends today. I'm in Arkansas so our stores closed at 6.

I wonder if you're having the PS4 try to grab an IP address that's already in use. If so, that could be what is causing the crashes and having to reset your router. Here's how you could try to rectify:

1. Turn your PS4 on, go to network settings and make a note of it's MAC address in the info screen.

2. Turn off your PS4 and then reboot your router.

3. Once your router comes back on go into your router settings, look at your DHCP table, verify all the IPs that are in use and then make a note of an IP address that you could use.

4. Input your PS4 MAC address (that you made a note of earlier) and assign it a static IP address (that is ok to assign based on your earlier findings).

5. Start up your PS4 and see if that fixed it.

I finally purchased a 3 TB Hard Drive and started installing/downloading my games back. I can't wait to see my full 100+ game library (including freebies and indies) available to play.

I got persona 5 and MLB The show on disc and theyre so good that id rather have them digitally download like all of my game last year.

I had an issue with my Games and license yesterday, not sure if it was do to the maintenance, but I need to ask, if PSN is down I cant play my downloaded games???
