That controller may be comfortable Burns, but it's honestly one of the ugliest pieces of tech I've ever seen.
That's the girl you make a drunken mistake with and sneak out the back door the next morning before anyone sees. She may very well have been a damn magician in bed, but there is no way in hell anyone ever needs know about it.Last edited by ScoobySnax; 01-20-2013, 07:36 PM.Originally posted by J. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I love new console years...!
While I'm leaning towards the 720 I am keeping options open.
I like the "Focused on a gaming machine" comments but we'll never really know until all the facts come out. While I have a Kinect I could lose it tomorrow and not care. I do however like the idea of a touch screen controller as it can, if done right, add a lot to the gaming.
Bottom line is whichever console I feel will be bringing the best gaming goods I'm on it.
I'd love to have both systems but just can't keep up supporting multiple platforms.
Really pumped to hear all the info the next few months.Comment

Here is the most up to date information/rumor about the PS4 (Orbis).
Digital Foundry presents hard data on the technology inside Sony's new console... and its upcoming Xbox rival.
Interesting discussion about the article on NeoGaf.

PS4: Sony Will Let Microsoft Make First Move
You may have noticed that there are lots of rumours flying about regarding next-gen consoles. No one knows definitely when Microsoft and Sony will unveil their successors to the current Xbox and PlayStation, but Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai has said that it will let Microsoft make the first move.
In the Business section of The Times today, Hirai said, "Why go first, when your competitors can look at your specifications and come up with something better?"
With Nintendo already out the next-gen blocks with the Wii U, can Sony hold its bottle until the Microsoft announces? Surely his comments are slightly disingenuous, since there would be relatively little scope for changing the specs of the PlayStation this late in its development cycle. It's more likely that the additional time would be use to adjust the messaging surrounding the announcement.Comment

This is my favorite comment:
Hirai will watch XBOX720 announcement live on TV with an open Playtation 4 in front of him, he will have a 4GB RAM stick in his left hand and a 8GB RAM stick in his right hand, which one of those 2 will he put in the opened console will depend entirely on what Microsoft says in their Press Conference.
Hirai will then proceed to close the Ps4 box while screaming "it's ready, ship it ship it!!!"Comment

As the article said, it's not so much in terms of development as it is how the console will be pitched in its first announcement.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think they're just trying to beat the other in terms of setting a price right out the gate.
I know when the PS3 first announced I was like "I'm never getting a 600$ gaming system". Hopefully they open up with a more reasonable price out of the gate.Comment
