Oh crap... My daughter and her friends play Just Dance all the time....
Guess I may not dump it. Probably for the best. Sort of attached to it since I've had it since launch...lol
The attic is in it's future..
Just checked and the newer models of PS3 trade in for 150.00 right now.

By the time I'm ready to sell my PS3 it may not be worth it. I may just put it in daughters room for blu-ray playerComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The PS2 is my favorite console of all-time. In the middle of that consoles life cycle if you would have told me that I wasn't going to ever by a PS3, I would have thought you were crazy, but that's what happened. It was all about the games, especially early in the life cycle of the console.
The PS2 had at least 50 exclusive RPGs, Does the PS3 even have more than 10? Even if they do, only a few of those have been well received.
Great series like, Suikoden, Shadow Hearts, Grandia, Wild Arms, Xenosaga, Dark Cloud and others never made an appearance. I know that things happen to publishers and developers that cause series to disappear, but other games didn't step in to fill the void in that genre.
From what we've seen so far, the specs of the PS4 seem strong, I just hope that they come back strong in the RPG market.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I've seen a few people say this. What about The Last of Us? Outside of that, The Show, and being mildly interested in God of War, I'd probably sell mine as well.Writer for Operation Sports

Yeah I dumped my PS3 and about to dump the 360 before the extra 50.00 trade in stops. It's a launch 360 so selling it I doubt will get me much. If the PS4 or 720 was BC it wouldn't be an issue but since they aren't I doubt I buy any more games until the new systems come out. Only exception may be Tiger Woods.
Im keeping my new white super slim for sure regardless, and I was going to dump the 360, but my son play it too much for me to can it, plus I use the 360 for a multimedia device anywho...I may try and sell my fatty PS3 for some cash though,N.Y Mets

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I won't need it for BC as the only games I could see myself possibly going through again are the Uncharteds. And I can guarantee they will be released on PS4 in some fashion.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Final verdict from my camp:
I'm moving my PS3 to the living room and letting my parents use it for apps.
I'm going to buy a Vita tomorrow and continue playing my 360.
The PS3 has been an absolute blast, but I don't have much use for it right now and it's just collecting dust in my room.
I doubt I buy a PS4 on launch because my location is very uncertain, but I'll at least be in full swing with the Vita and ready to utilize that feature when I do finally get a PS4.
I see this gen. going very similar to this current gen. for me, in regards to console ownership. I'll primarily play on the PS4 for a long time until the eventual MSFT/XBOX price drop in a few years and then I'll pick that up.
I love gaming, but I don't see how people have time to get the bang for their buck by purchasing both consoles during the release year.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'll consider a Vita off of CL if the MS conference disappoints, certainly wouldn't wish the PS3 UI on my parents though, I'd get them a Roku first unless they needed a Blu-Ray player that badly.
Even then, can probably hold out for a price drop and/or new hardware revision to shove the secondary market down closer to $100-120 ($180 now).Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That's far from the case, I'll be really happy when these are out and multiplatform developers can stretch their legs a bit, PC gaming has clearly been hamstrung by this console generation dragging on.
No matter your chosen platform it's exciting that the next generation is finally starting. All gamers will benefit.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If it is built like a mid level gaming pc from 2010 why shouldn't we get amazing looking games from day 1?
It's already familiar tech unlike the cell in ps3
