It's 8 on the Vita, so I assume it's going to be at least that many.

    Edit:
I'm actually hoping that it'll be a LOT more than that. Mainly because of Planetside 2. That way everyone can be in the same party and eliminate the need for using mumble.

Pretty big difference. Here you go.............

The PlayStation 4 has some serious horsepower under the hood, but how does it stack up against the Playstation 3? Read our spec comparison to find out.

Am I the only one who liked using L1 and R1 for aiming and shooting? It always felt pretty natural to me, so I'm surprised this is something people didn't like.

Having not played many PS3 FPS games, yes, this sounds strange as hell.

I hated using L1/R1.. Didn't feel natural at all to me and was pretty uncomfortable also.

I can not wait to get one of those controllers in my hands. It looks so bad ***. I really liked the part about about how the touchpad may make RTS games more accessible. The RTS games lacked so badly this gen. We only got one command and conquer. And Endwar was rock/paper/scissors at best. But I still have both of them.

I just hope they utilize everything to it's fullest potential.

I hope so. Even playing CK2 on PC I rarely even touch the KB as everything can be done via mouse... which could be tagged to a Stick on controller OR the Pad on the controller.

I hated it at first, got used to it eventually, but still greatly prefer using L2/R2.

They call those buttons "triggers" for a reason.

Yep. Never understood the mapping for shooters on the ps3. Pulling R2 to shoot made so much more sense.

Bring this to PS4 and I would be stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting it for PC, but would like to be able to play a good RTS with all my non-PC gaming friends.

yeah that would be something I'd get pretty freaking excited about.

I prefer it too, because that's where the index (trigger) finger naturally falls on the controller. That and I always associated the L1/R1 buttons with upper body tasks (aiming, shooting), and L2/R2 with lower body tasks (running, kneeling)... if that makes sense.

I'm sure I'll adjust, either way though. Especially now that the ds4 has a more defined 'handle' and trigger button.

That's a good way to describe it. My fingers always fell on top of the controller near the L1 and R1 so those seemed first instinct/first action for me while L2 and R2 seemed like backup. But yeah, I can definitely adjust. And if not, I'm sure most games will let you edit which button does what.
