I don't think the PS3 is really built to play BF4 very well. My expectations are still pretty high that the PS4 version is going to be quite good. I enjoyed the beta at first, but after a bit you could sense the PS3 really could not keep up with the action. I'm sure the PS4 version will be just fine.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Looks like the rumors were true; Driveclub has been delayed.
SCE Worldwide Studios and the team at Evolution Studios have made the difficult decision to delay the release of DRIVECLUB and DRIVECLUB PlayStation Plus Edition until early 2014. DRIVECLUB will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game, but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision — and I’m fully [...]Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
NBA 2K14 trailer 100% sold me on that game. I was on the fence but now it's a must have.
BF4 + NBA 2K14
Madden 25 looks like garbage and really got slapped by NBA 2K14. The jump from one to the other was amazing. Now I can't wait to see what The Show looks like!SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Now Drive Club is delayed as well? It's starting to look like Next Gen launch is going to be a disaster, for both consoles. It seems like developers just aren't going to be ready for launch. As we get closer and closer we are all expecting game play video releases and instead we are getting delay after delay as they run out of time.
Anxious now to see NBA2k in 5v5 player view. So far they are really the only ones that have "kind of" proved that they are ready and it seems like they are way ahead of everyone else. Hope this is true, I would be happy just playing 2k for a couple months until other games release if it plays like it looks. This does however pretty much guarantee that I wont be getting rid of my PS3 at launch.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I feel exactly the same. I wasn't planning on getting 2k14, but the trailer sold me. I will need more than 1 game for the new systems. BF4 is a given. I'm getting a PS4 just to play that with the OSers. I'm starting to get pretty excited for the Next Gen systems and it really got ramped up with that trailer yesterday. Can't wait to see some actual gameplay.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Guess the price is right but not really happy with/interested in Contrast. Maybe that's because I happened to look at it last night and passed on it even at $15 on Steam.
I guess I was expecting some exclusive for the launch, not a relatively cheap indie title.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Are these specs accurate? I found these in a thread over at neogaf. I just find it hard to believe there would be that much of a difference between the 2 systems. If this is true, I think Ryse looks amazing on the Xbone, cant wait to see what Naughty Dog comes up with. On pins and needles waiting to see The Show on PS4.
Xbone: 1.18 TF GPU (12 CUs) for games
Xbone: 768 Shaders
Xbone: 48 Texture units
Xbone: 16 ROPS
Xbone: 2 ACE/ 16 queues
PS4: 1.84TF GPU ( 18 CUs) for games + 56%
PS4: 1152 Shaders +50%
PS4: 72 Texture units +50%
PS4: 32 ROPS + 100%
PS4: 8 ACE/64 queues +400%
Xbox 360 GPU 240 GFLOPS for games ,Xbox One GPU 1179 GFLOPS for games
Xbox One = 939 GFLOPS advantage over the Xbox 360
Xbox One GPU 1179 GFLOPS for games , PS4 GPU 1843 GFLOPS for games
PS4 = 664 GFLOPS advantage over the Xbox One for games.
I just find this hard to believe. If true I am overly excited as I have always been a Playstation guy. Like I stated Ryse looks awesome so I am sure Xbone will have plenty of amazing looking games. I would imagine PS4 multiplats will perform better but will look around the same. 1st party should be amazing.Last edited by BKAraujo; 10-18-2013, 01:11 PM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
A free version of DriveClub was going to come as part of the PS4′s PlayStation Plus subscription at launch. That will no longer be possible, so Sony is offering a free digital copy of Contrast in its place. The game, made by Compulsion Games, “will whisk you away to a surreal vaudevillian, film-noir inspired reality full of performance, intrigue, shadow-play and drama” writes Yoshida.

This next gen launch is just getting uglier by the day.
After Watch Dogs was delayed, I was still ok because I knew that there was going to be a game out there that got delayed. Just thought it would be a sports title.
But Driveclub too?
This just gives me the feeling that the sports games are going to be incredibly underwhelming. I had this feeing going in but if the non-sports games don't feel comfortable about their products then the sports games have to be just patchwork jobs IMO.
I'm glad I haven't preordered any games yet.Comment
