Seeing the positive comments about the DS4 from some OSers I trust is a bit of a relief. I kept convincing myself it would be much improved.

It won't be possible for me to get a PS4 until next year, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to get a DS4 if I could.. just to test it out a bit.

IMO it's awesome once you handle it. I hated, absolutely hated the DS3. It's one if the reasons why I owned more 360 games.

Anyone know how much footage or the length of the share you're allowed with ps4? Are you able to have people watching just clips or an entire game?

I don't know if I want to open my DS4 once it arrives. I think I want to wait until I get the system and soak in the new experience.

There's nothing really to report about the ps4. It's a console launch so once it's out there in the wild I would put money on there being issues. There always are for any launch like this. That being said, there aren't any red flag issues that have popped up to get worked up about like some pretty serious reports about MS offering from some pretty trusted people. Not that what they say is gospel, but you know the saying about smoke and fire.

That doesn't mean it will be smooth sailing, but (without having a dog in this fight) the news just isn't there.

There's nothing really to report about the ps4. It's a console launch so once it's out there in the wild I would put money on there being issues. There always are for any launch like this. You can share the last 15 minutes of a game by hitting the share button on the controller. You can also live stream your game fully, though, which people can watch via their PS4, IOS/Android device, or Vita. I've not live streamed myself, but doesn't Twitch also keep an archive of their live streams? Wouldn't that be a way to circumvent the 15 min limit and be able to upload gameplay fully?

I hope the steaming will be working day one. But I am sure the servers are going to be melting with everyone streaming. I hope Twitch is ready.

I'm sure Twitch won't have any issues. Plus I'm sure that's a setting you will have to change seeing as how Sony and UStream have a deal and Sony has been pushing UStream.

Twitch has dealt with bigger events than a console launch of which only a relatively small amount of people will actually probably be interested in streaming.

I dont know. They were having issues during that big LoL tournament that happened recently. Chats for other streams were a mess.

Was it? I stopped watching LoL recently because amateur teams that deserve to beat the professional teams are getting screwed out of wins by DDoS attacks yet again. Not anything to do with Twitch, but I just can't get behind something like that which Riot hasn't been able to police as of yet.

Yea. I dont watch LoL tournaments either, I dont really care for the game or community. But I was watching another stream and the chat was lagged to ****. It was pretty much impossible to communicate with the streamer or anyone else watching. Then when the tournament ended, the chat started working again.

Well, I guess to Twitch's credit, the stream I was watching worked just fine. It was just the chat that was getting screwed up

I am honestly compelled to ask... why would anyone be rooting "against" any system?

I want choices. Quality choices. I wish failure on neither M'Soft or Sony. As a consumer, that doesn't help me out at all.

This is what I expect for any possible launch issues. People logging in for the update, using the streaming, and more. I fully expect server issues for both launches. If those are the only problems we see, then I will be relieved.
