Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I've finally decided on my 3 games at launch and I'm actually a bit surprised. With Watch Dogs delayed, COD looking like a slightly upgraded port, Need for Speed coming out a week later and no interest in Knack, I was struggling to decide what to get.
I landed on these three games:
FIFA: Has all the features of the current gen game (which I like) with upgraded stadiums, graphics and animations. Played the demo at the Sony Store and liked it alot. I never bought the current gen version (only rented it) so I'm excited about this.
BF4: Needed a non sports game and this seems to be the best one on the PS4. Killzone and Assasin Creed were close seconds but I've never been a fan of either series on current gen.
Madden: The biggest surprise. Worse case scenario, the game will be a slightly better looking version of the current gen version. Best case scenario, the in game animations and OL/DL play will make it a much improved version.
I thought it would be NBA 2k until I played the game a few weeks ago. NBA2k is missing some features that I love (Ive ranted about this before so I wont here) so I'm still playing the current gen version. What I dont want to do is have the next gen version spoil my enjoyment of the current gen version and I know that playing it alot will.
For people who dont care about small features like custom music and 30 team franchise should definitely buy NBA 2k. It looks and plays great.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm on the fence about my "3rd game" I bought Assassin's Creed for PS3 so for $10 I get it for PS4, have the BF4 bundle with PS+ coming. Will be running a Madden CFM. Looking at FIFA, NBA 2K or waiting for a racer.

I really want to give FIFA a try, but I don't understand the game of soccer at all. Played the PS3 demo on beginner and liked it, but I'm horrible at it.
@ Aaron, NFS is a confirmed launch title now. Does anyone know of it has a story mode, or just a bunch of chases/races.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm aware of monoprice. It was like $3.50 total including standard shipping on there when I looked.
I ordered it on Sunday and got it Monday with Amazon Prime. The $1.50 difference was whatever. Plus I used my Chase freedom rewards points so I didn't pay anything.
It was worth the $1.50 so I could get the DS4 hooked up!Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Couldn't we just use the charging cord on the PS3 controllers?
