Hopefully you can get the console back if not just take your money and get one off ebay prices went down there

You could change it a week ago when you're literally now what 4 days till the ps4 drop and they're getting everything ready to go...i would have expected that to happen

Things happen. Plans change. Either way per amazon policy, you can change anything up until the point you are charged and the items are ready for shipping.

And yes i changed the address on both. I was suppose to be out of town this week so i had them going to a friend house. Well that fell through and as soon as i found out i changed the address

Things happen. Plans change. Either way per amazon policy, you can change anything up until the point you are charged and the items are ready for shipping.

That does suck but they ship out in 3 days i get what you're saying i would just be suspicious and expect the worst but thats just me

So earlier today I changed the address for my ps3 launch edition on amazon. It has not been shipped yet so the site allows you to do it. Well around 8 I receive an email saying my order was canceled. Come to find out any changes to a pre order gets it automatically canceled. Now I have no way to get back my pre order without getting put on the waiting list.

I chatted and talked on the phone with them. The best they said they could do is give me a promotional certificate. Im so hot I told them they could keep it any any other thing they offered. I just want my damn pre order back.

Changing your address, or any other info for that matter, should not void your order. If it were me, I'd call everyday and heckle the hell out of them until they gave me my order back. That's BS.

Hey I'm kinda new to posting on forums in general, I'm usually just a reader but I'm finding you guys pretty helpful. Situation: my internet is off at the moment. When I receive my console, I know I need to download that day one patch/update. Is it safe for me to use my phone as a mobile hotspot just for the update?

Guess I misinterpreted the whole Amazon B1G1 deal. I thought my copy of Battlefield would count as the one. Didn't know I had to order the second game to make it kick in. Oh well.

Just got off the phone again. I still have not got a legit answer as to why my order was canceled.

What she did tell me, after being on hold for about 30 min while she talked to he supervisor, was that her supervisor will get in touch with the distributor and do their best to get me a pre order back.

I then asked what are the chances I can get it back or do I need to take my 700 elsewhere. She then said more-so I will get one back. I just have to wait 24-48 hrs for them to call me back.

So for you guys thats good at this, I know I can get more then a $15 dollar certificate. I need something to forget my troubles they been putting me through. Free shipping maybe?

Feel bad for you buddy. People have been reporting this issue with most all sites that took pre orders online for shipping to home. Seems the best way to go about changing the shipping address is to call them and have them do it by phone. Either way its no excuse, they screwed up your order and a certificate wont make that right. I think they should guarantee you a PS4 in the next wave and give it to you half off.

So I went to Target yesterday afternoon and the guy in electronics said they weren't going to put out ANY PS4 games until Friday. I asked him about the ad saying some games were Tuesday and he blew it off.

I then went to the customer service desk and asked for a manager. I asked him about it and he pretty much agreed with what the other guy said. I grew quite angry and told him it was false advertising. I pointed out that their own damned ad showed some games for PS4 would be out on TUESDAY. He acted quite surprised when I showed him his own ad. He then apologized and said all the games were hard dated to Friday, even the ones in their ad showing Tuesday, and they had no choice or would get fined. I asked him who would fine him since some (most) games were already out for sale practically at every Gamestop and Best Buy. I pointed out most, if not all, of these games were NOT hard street dated because most were re-releases of currently existing titles that had already been released.

He keeps saying there's nothing he can do, blahblah, Friday is the day, come back Friday....at which point I really got angry at his ignorance about street dates and his refusal to honor his own ad. I pretty much blew a gasket. I didn't cuss and didn't really yell (although maybe borderline, LOL) but let's just say people were sort of looking in my direction as I was so pissed it was obvious.

He tells me he will go check and see what he can do. 5 minutes later he comes back with COD Ghosts and tells me he can sell that and maybe one other title they may have in the back, he thinks NBA2K14. He also said that he and the other guy were wrong about the "everything on hold until Friday" and that Madden, FIFA, etc would all be for sale on Tuesday.

I thanked him for checking, apologized for getting so upset and politely declined the COD Ghosts. I told him I'd be back Tuesday morning to get Madden, FIFA, etc.

I realize that people don't live, eat and breathe video games like we do here on OS but to me these stores need to be at least not COMPLETELY ignorant of how things work. They should also know what's in THEIR OWN AD. For example, why can't they look at their own damned ad and see games plainly showing for a Tuesday release and yet tell people they cannot get them until Friday?

My g/f suspects that the electronics guy probably wanted to sell some of the PS4 games to his buddies. I'm not that suspicious although I suppose that could be true, you just don't know..

That's the most angry I've been in a long time. I understand where Target is coming from, they want to have plenty of games for the people who pre-ordered their PS4s with them. I get that. However that's not what the ad says. If they wanted to have people who actually got their system get the deal, and/or the games all not be available at all until Friday, then that's how the ad should have read!!

I work at Target and I was talking to my manager about how cool it was that we were having the 2 for 1 and he had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Target and Walmart are terribly uninformed. Target prides themselves on being so much better than Walmart. In reality they are the same if not worse. You don't even have to have really any electronical knowledge to work in electronics. Luckily at my Target some of the guys that work in electronics know a little something, but not enough IMO. All I do is stock electronics and I really have no say in that as I don't work the sales floor or register. All in all Target and Walmart are the worst places possible to go as far as electronics. Of course I know all these things because I am a nerd lol. Most employees don't know anything.

Its silly how they have it setup but it works. Cancel your original pre ordered game and then pre order it again with both games in your cart. Apply the promo code and you should be good to go.

Its nice to wake up and see Amazon's looking out for you. Now I don't have to get up tomorrow and waste gas going to Target.

I'm getting 3 games for $66 (BOGO and Amazon points). Sweet.
