So im thinking about grabbing these turtle beach headset. Since i dont really care for the earbud. Anyone ever try these? I know they can be used on pc/mac also..

I bought them for the same reason Scoop - hate me some earbuds.

For what I needed they are perfect. They are lightweight, but built well - and the sound is nice. I have only used it on my gaming on my PC and talking on my iPhone, but they worked just fine on both - Sound using them on the iPhone was a bit low on occasion, but good enough.

Ridiculous.

Thing is you have to understand the age demographics of people who work in these stores, you're either going to have high-school aged teenagers/or people 40+. The supervisors/managers are a different story,having retail management experience I can tell you that customers many times will tell you what you want to hear, so it can make you a bit hardened to things like this. The typical response seems to be "If you don't know, deny."

I don't know if any of your guys figured this out if they said this already, but when I was playing the demo at Best Buy you can scroll through the UI using the touchpad, just like a touch phone.

Just noticed my 2 games from Amazon, Madden 25 and AC4 from the Buy 1 get 1 free is now shipping. My Launch lineup now looks like this

1. Ghost
2. Killzone
3. Nba 2K14
4. AC 4
5. Madden 25
6. DS4 controller
7. PS4 system

ALL paid in full. All that is left is Battlefield 4 and probably the $29 TB headset

So, I ordered NBA 2k and BF4. I had to re-order AC4 because I completely blanked on my pre-order and my old shipping address was still in. Unfortunately I didn't catch it in time so we'll see what happens there.

I already have three games waiting for me at Best Buy but this Amazon deal has me wondering if I should jump on Killzone and Knack. I just don't know about the third game.

Best Buy will have Battlefield, Assassins Creed and NBA 2K for me.

I will not get Ghosts. Just not for me. I wish Live was available on Amazon. I would buy it if I got it for free.

So I went to Target yesterday afternoon and the guy in electronics said they weren't going to put out ANY PS4 games until Friday. I asked him about the ad saying some games were Tuesday and he blew it off.

I then went to the customer service desk and asked for a manager. I asked him about it and he pretty much agreed with what the other guy said. I grew quite angry and told him it was false advertising. I pointed out that their own damned ad showed some games for PS4 would be out on TUESDAY. He acted quite surprised when I showed him his own ad. He then apologized and said all the games were hard dated to Friday, even the ones in their ad showing Tuesday, and they had no choice or would get fined. I asked him who would fine him since some (most) games were already out for sale practically at every Gamestop and Best Buy. I pointed out most, if not all, of these games were NOT hard street dated because most were re-releases of currently existing titles that had already been released.

He keeps saying there's nothing he can do, blahblah, Friday is the day, come back Friday....at which point I really got angry at his ignorance about street dates and his refusal to honor his own ad. I pretty much blew a gasket. I didn't cuss and didn't really yell (although maybe borderline, LOL) but let's just say people were sort of looking in my direction as I was so pissed it was obvious.

He tells me he will go check and see what he can do. 5 minutes later he comes back with COD Ghosts and tells me he can sell that and maybe one other title they may have in the back, he thinks NBA2K14. He also said that he and the other guy were wrong about the "everything on hold until Friday" and that Madden, FIFA, etc would all be for sale on Tuesday.

I thanked him for checking, apologized for getting so upset and politely declined the COD Ghosts. I told him I'd be back Tuesday morning to get Madden, FIFA, etc.

I realize that people don't live, eat and breathe video games like we do here on OS but to me these stores need to be at least not COMPLETELY ignorant of how things work. They should also know what's in THEIR OWN AD. For example, why can't they look at their own damned ad and see games plainly showing for a Tuesday release and yet tell people they cannot get them until Friday?

My g/f suspects that the electronics guy probably wanted to sell some of the PS4 games to his buddies. I'm not that suspicious although I suppose that could be true, you just don't know..

That's the most angry I've been in a long time. I understand where Target is coming from, they want to have plenty of games for the people who pre-ordered their PS4s with them. I get that. However that's not what the ad says. If they wanted to have people who actually got their system get the deal, and/or the games all not be available at all until Friday, then that's how the ad should have read!!

Sorry that happened to you ODogg. I know for a fact you can get 2k14, Knack and Killzone now at Target. Yeah they are trying to hold back games, but here is the kicker, Most Targets will only get about 15-20 consoles Friday and have 8 pre-orders to hold back for a week first. At this is at high volume stores too. There will be no systems to sell anyway in the first place. Those guys were just giving you the run around.

Here are the DPCIs for the PS4 games. When you go to the Electronics counter at target, just give them the number and find the games. Most will be in the back however. Pull up Knack, Killzone and 2k14 on the Target.com site on your phone. They are showing "Now Shipping" therefore, they are NOT street dated and can be sold. The ad might show Friday, but there is no longer a street date on them. To prove it, have a manager scan the games and there is NO prompt for a street date anymore. Everything else but those games and COD and NBA Live will be out tomorrow. Do not let those stupid SOBs hustle you guys out of your games. They are just trying to boost their attach rate for Friday and aren't thinking about doing the right thing by their customers.

I changed my shipping address for the PS4..let's hope no cancellation here.

Also, I received the B1G1...Ordered KZ and 2K14.

I bought KZ yesterday from Gamestop, too...I'll end up taking it back. I really hope 2K arrives quickly..it is listed as out of stock.

Anyone know if I can go buy it from Walmart and then return the unopened one from Amazon? Is there any special packaging to worry about?

I'm going to be glad when this week is over.

I pre-ordered Madden and KZ from Amazon last month, then canceled when news of the Target deal broke. So I'm not eligible for the pre-order promotion, even though I tried with Amazon.

I'm going to try Target in the morning and then Amazon's b2, g1 deal tomorrow as well. But I'm getting nervous that all the games I want will be gone.

Took advantage of the GS Sunday trade in deal and made out like a bandit!!
I traded in my 360, PS3 and about 7 games, in return I got $450! I really couldn't believe they would give me so much. In return I was able to fully pay off my PS4 preorder, I bought NBA 2K14 and BATTLEFIELD 4 and still had a few bucks to put down on Madden. Those were the three games I really wanted at launch, thanks to the GS deal they made it possible. After years of feeling raped by them I actually feel like I got a good deal this time.....well worth it!
