So disappointed.

Can't play anything but Madden and thats too stale. Played BF for an hour yesterday, now I go to play today it was awesome and get corrupt save. Had to delete it and now I try to install and disc drive spins and makes a noise like its trying to read and then stops spinning like the bad BR drives.

PSN is buggy as hell, it feels like they released it in BETA seeing crashes all over the place in NBA and BF, could be my console though who knows.

Not sure what's going on w u but I'm having a blast..ps4 kicks ***!

I was hoping that launch would go smooth for OSers, I do admit, the ratio seems alarming, assuming all the reports from around the web are accurate.

I hate saying stuff like this, as it just opens up a perfect door the Karma Train to step through, but so far launch has been beautiful for me. I feel lucky, which sucks, because I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation.

I really hope everyone gets taken care of

Welp. I love the ****ing thing.

FIFA is an honest to god revelation. It resembles current gen in gameplay, yes, but there's so many tweaks and improvements that it feels like a different much more polished game to me. Oh, and it's ****ing gorgeous.

NBA 2k14 is every bit the fantastic game we all thought it'd be. Family members of mine who don't care about video games were astonished when they saw the LeBron player model. IT LOOKS SO REAL. The halftime/postgame interview segments are a true innovation and one every sports game not only should rip off, but needs to rip off to keep up.

I didn't get terribly far into Assassin's Creed IV, but what I played was ridiculously fun. And the jungleish setting early in the game was just gorgeous. The colors were so vibrant, everything looked so sharp. And the game is so smooth.

I still have Battlefield 4 left to try. I'm putting that off until Sunday when I get back to my dorm and have college internet again instead of the **** I have here at home.

Safe to say I'm in love. Safe to say I'm thrilled to have this thing. And given I haven't been able to do most internet related things yet, I've only tapped a bit of its potential.

I seriously couldn't concentrate playing 2k, I always found myself caught up in the graphics and attention to detail lol. Hopefully the servers are up tomorrow so I can play online. BF4 was nice as well, still don't know why people aren't using their mics though, there's no excuses now.

I hope everything pans out for those having major issues. I've had a pretty flawless launch, as I've purposely taken this thing thru its paces. I couldn't be more pleased at this point. I have done everything with a wired connection, FWIW.

The only issue I've had is connecting to music unlimited!!

Are you able to connect at all? Check PSN ---> Account Information ---> Services List, to see if MU shows up in the list. If not, try going to PSN ---> Restore Licenses

I've been using MU (streaming) since launch with no issue. I did already have a subscription for what it's worth. Not sure if you were doing the free trial.

Edit: I can also confirm that the Sony Pulse Elite Headset works (for chat, in-game audio, and streaming music with MU) wired, and plugged into the controller. Not sure if it's been mentioned already.

Also, a few pro-tips... change your share button options to 'easy screenshot' setting, much better IMO. And to delete media go to Profile ---> Captures (under your profile pic) or from the System Storage Management screen.

Everything is smooth except NBA2K14. I sat through the install and played the Heat/SPurs. But the audio was glitching badly. It was like it couldn't handle Dolby Digital. Then I played BF4 for awhile and it played great. Went back to 2K, and it has that stupid mandatory create a player setup. So I did that and it just sits at the uploading myplayer account screen. Disappointing.

Just played a FIFA game for the first time in my life. Three games in, an 0-3 record, and it might have stolen my heart already.

What a game. I wish I knew soccer, I have no idea what I am doing, no idea why I keep getting called for offsides, no idea why I just lost a game that ended 0-0, but, I do know that I am having fun and really want to learn.

Kudos to whoever the EA studio is that makes this gem.

So, dumb question of the night...

I am having trouble understanding when exactly my game is fully installed or not.

Like, I put in 2k, and it had a whole progress indicator so it was no problem....

Killzone, it says it needs like 40gigs on the back of the box, but I plugged it in and it seemed to be up and running really fast, much faster than 2k. I have a hard time believing it installed itself that quickly...

Am I missing something?

I'm starting to believe that the numbers released by SONY in regards to how many people are having bad systems is wrong. If you go on Amazon just read the reviews. Half of the orders are getting 1 star ratings because those people received faulty ps4s. The percent is a lot higher than what Sony is saying. I hope they can get this all figured out soon.

Correct me if I am wrong but Sony released those numbers like yesterday or Wednesday night, right? So basically, they could sit there and say "Yeah, only 10 people have problems out X amount we shipped," but the fact is 99 percent of the systems shipped weren't, at the time, opened yet. I think that's what might be happening there

I'm doing AC4 now and its no different than 2k. I think some of us didnt know or didnt understand the install process but it was explained last week and I think on Sony's FAQ page as well.

There was the fast install so you can get started but the full download is in the download section.

Its next Gen and the devs thought it better to install the games on the hdd to reduce in game load times so you deal with it up front
