Pappy, I owe you a few black eyes on whatever boxing game comes out. I used to put them hands on you on. A regular basis in round 4.

What up, UTexas. Been a while man. Last thing I remember about playing you in Fight Night was me handling business, so I have no problem dishing out some more punishment. I really hope that somebody comes out with a good boxing game though. I'm not sure if EA has abandoned Fight Night now that they are doing the MMA thing. If 2K could do something to the level of 2K14 I'd be so happy.

I have to say this. I own both (PSN utexas5000, gamertag utexas). I've played both a lot. They are both good. Why do we as Americans have to justify our purchases to complete strangers over the internet, then get upset or agitated if they disagree? This is the absolute best time to be a gamer. Let's just enjoy it for what it is. If you want to know my feelings about how the 2 differ, pm me. I will answer any question especially if somebody is trying to decide which one fits them better. But if you decided to purchase one and you love it great. Don't aggravate somebody else because they made a different choice. With that being said join my madden and nba 2k lgs!!!

Same reason we hate other sports teams. Now advance 2k league

Don't make me dig up the thread with picture proof of victory over you. You had skills, I'll give you that. But any loss that you ever handed to me has an asterisk by it. In my mind you've never beaten me lol.

Thanks. I'm still on the fence on what console to get when I get one, but considering baseball is my favorite sport and the Xbox doesn't have a baseball game while Sony has The Show definitely has me leaning towards the PS4 right now.

If you end up grabbing the PS4 down the road, we definitely need to go a few rounds in that UFC. Rashad is hungry.

No problem, that is definitely one of the games that makes me want to get a next gen system. I'll have no problem KO'ing you a few times just like Machida did to Rashad a while back

Arguing console wars is akin to arguing which is better, a big oil' cheeseburger or a deep dish pizza, it's ok to give your opinion but proving one is better than the other is impossible because it's subjective to what you want. And in the end we all end up eating a damned delicious meal so everyone wins!!

No. The areas on the touch pad directly behind the L1/R1 act as the triggers. At least that's how it was with 2K. Awkward to say the least.

Maybe someone will develop a clip on trigger, or something. One can hope.

Ahhhh PS4 live streaming. I'm watching some guy sitting on his couch smoking a blunt, talking about how he wishes his viewers would donate so he can buy 2K14. I guess I was foolish to think people would only use Twitch to broadcast gaming related stuff lol.

Saturday and not much on the schedule... I think im gonna play a few gamesin HD

I was on assasins creed last night and made it to Nassau... man the reason I love this game is because of the nice history lessons that it gives, and the graphics are top notch. It helped not to even bother buying the CG one, now im enjoying it immensely!


Still waiting on my copy of Lego Marvel to come in so I can play some with my little one but I've been having nothing short of a blast with this thing. Kinda reminds me of how it was when I first got my PS2 and would stay up late nights playing nba 2k2/2k3

Funny you bring up staying up late and playing. On xbox 360 there was a golden period where on weekends I would stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning and just play, then that kind of wore off and I tried to be in bed on most nights by about midnight. PS4 comes out and I am back to my old habits, hell I STARTED a game of madden at midnight last saturday. Now it's Friday and Saturdays playing to the wee hours of the morning, and weekdays playing until 12, where as weeknights I used to try and turn in by 10.

Awesome system, even losing sleep over it. lol

Control-wise... depends on the person, but at it's best it's a bit awkward.

Got my system the day of release and haven't really posted my impressions. Other than one freezing hiccup I've absolutely loved my PS4. This is my first sony system so I thought the shift from Xbox would take some time. Nope, the controller and interface are very well done and easy to use. I only wish there were some more games out that had the "next-gen" feel to them. It could be my own fault for getting 2k and ghosts. Don't get me wrong 2k is brilliant but I've been on that series heavy for 5 years now and the same goes for COD. Probably going to wait it out for destiny and infamous in the spring. Having a blast so far though.
