Well Day 2 with the PS4 and I am still enjoying it despite only owning one game. Tried out remote play and had zero issues. Some of the remapping is a little weird but I got used to it relatively quick.

Looking to purchase Battlefield 4 in upcoming days, just waiting for a good deal.

Did get my PSN set up with my 1 year code I got for $29.00. My PSN is Aggies7. Hope to have BF4 soon to get in on the action.

Does that one work with the PS4? Because I had it and bought a new one under the assumption that it doesn't.

I have this beasty. I think it was like 25 bucks at Walmart.

Yep it works with the PS4. Just connect via usb and connect the rca cable to audio outputs on your tv. Instructions for setting it up are on Turtle Beach's website. In addition to the PLa, I have the P4c you have (I was unsure if the pla would work with the ps4 before launch) and the p4c is a good chat only headset (better than the provided earbud with the ps4).

Yep, chat only.

I have some that I bought at Gamestop as a backup in case something were to ever go wrong with my DXL1 w/DSS2.

Anyone else getting a party error? E-8220420B? I tried googling it and only came upon 1 result where someone had it a week ago, but not much was said other than having that error.

No plugging into anything other than to charge it.

Chat works fine and no plugging into controller (wireless), no adjustments need to be made or anything PS4 side, recognized it immediately.

I was so depressed waking up today after a 4 day weekend of nothing but PS4 and football. Glad I took a long enough break to catch the end of the Iron Bowl.

I think I bought too many games, but their all so good I just want to play more of all of them. Right now I have Madden, Fifa, NFS, COD and AC4. I'm slowly winding down in NFS but the other ones I'm still having a blast with, even COD. I skipped Black Ops 2 so this doesn't feel as stale as it might to some people. To me it looks great, plays great, and I've had basically zero connection or crash problems with the game. Not exactly a glowing review but it's just kind of mindless fun when there's nothing on TV and I'm not really in a specific mood for anything else. They had a double XP weekend which is probably over now so it will probably go towards the back of the pile for a bit until I finish AC4.

The system has held up great, I think I might have had one crash in NFS this weekend but even then I could still hold the PS button and just close the application. Other than that no issues inviting friends to parties and games, streaming stuff to twitch or anything really, although I didn't have to redeem any codes this weekend.

As many have already said and I might have already, Assassins Creed 4 is outstanding. I had given up out of boredom at this point in AC3 but I'm maybe 6-8 hours in and I just keep getting the itch to fire it back up and start taking out more ships or finding whales and sharks to hunt. The action on land is fine and I've enjoyed that part as well but the naval combat and exploration is just so fun cruising around listening to the shanties.

It's going to be a long winter with almost no new games unless we get an unexpected hit or two between now and MLB the Show and Infamous but hopefully I've got enough to last me for awhile and I'm still hoping to pick up Killzone and NBA at some point once they start going on sale.

Gotta love Gamefly. I rented Fifa and I liked it so much that I decided to purchase it. With the discounts and coupons it only came up to $37. Now that I have an extra slot, I'm going to check out Madden and see if it's really cracked up to be what you guys say it is. I didn't wanna buy it without getting a chance to play it first.

I also think I'm going to try Assassins Creed soon as well. I played the first one and didn't really like it, but the impressions for this one seem to be pretty good. I'm going in expecting nothing though.

Loving the rotation of games that I have right now. I've kind of been neglecting all of my other titles because I've been playing Fifa so much, but I plan to get back to NFS, Battlefield, and NBA 2K14 soon.

The battery life on the DS4 is crap compared to what I got out of the DS3. They need to, if possible, patch a way to turn off the light.

Next gen Fifa and Madden are very similar. I played both on current gen and the PS4 versions are just a better experience overall. All the features are in and the gameplay has improved for the better in both cases in my opinion. Nothing ground breaking but a solid base for the future as long as you can still tolerate the current gen versions.

If you played the very first Assassins Creed and nothing else then holy cow 4 will blow your mind. I know I was blown away by the free running and climbing but if I remember correctly the first one was, sit on bench and overhear a conversation, follow somone, find more clues or something and then kill the target. Repeat 6 times, game over. AC4 is a real open world game with a ton to do.

I know we all like resogun but has anyone spent time with Contrast? I downloaded it on launch day but forgot it was there until just now.

Upgrading to a decent 1080p tv has really made the ps4 shine. At first I only played madden and didn't notice a huge difference but then I popped in BF4 and wow, it looks incredible.

Loved Contrast.
Finished it a couple weeks ago but still want to go through again and get the items I missed.

I like Contrast. My only real issue was that my character got stuck on environmental objects a few times, but the game is pretty fun.
