Does anyone know if an attachable mic works on the controller jack? I've got a nice pair of headphones already and instead of dropping another 100-200 on a headset, I'd prefer to just buy a mic attachment.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I hear ya Quint...However, I just created a European account myself and picked it up. Unfortunately now PSN seems to be going through a maintenance so it hasn't installed yet. LOL, shot down even before I hit the skies...It's in my library so I guess I have to wait to test this out. Hope to see you in combat! Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah so that Outlast game. Time to put it down for a while.
I nearly pulled a muscle in my neck for jumping.
The surround sound headphones really are made for a game like this. Too damn frightening.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 02-04-2014, 05:49 PM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Interesting. People said the Monoprice one would work.
EDIT: Don't know if this will redirect you to it, but 23 replied to my post saying it would and sbauer318 posted a link to that same product:

Not calling you out guys out, just letting everyone else know the Monoprice splitter doesn't seem to do the trick for me. For the time being, I'll have to stick with my DVI converter workaround it seems (which makes the audio portion very hard to work with, and 3D impossible to use unless I also use the splitter, in which case I hate that workaround haha). This is what I'd have to do though:
Not very fun or easy to follow even when setting it up, especially when I have to make sure my Harmony One remote has everything set up properly when using Optical (same with PS3 settings since you have to manually change it).
Yeah sorry. It's looking like a your mileage may vary type of thing. It works but it doesn't look like it's working for everyone and I'm not sure why.Comment

I have one of these: http://dx.com/p/mini-clip-on-microph...0#.UvFfCrTVp9A and plugged into the controller it didn't work.
One of these should get it working though: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Are you on your PS4 right now? I found a work around to bypass the error. On the PS4, go to the PSN store as usual. You will get an error and be sent back to the XMB. Now double click the PS button and it should bring you back to the PSN store. Every once in a while it'll tell you the same error and kick you back out. Just double press it again and go to the free games section and start your download.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yup, I was having issues even signing in on the web store so I tried downloading it manually. I couldn't get in again. I was just fiddling around and figured out how to get the store to load. If anyone else has trouble with the web download, try what I posted above.Comment
