I think TitanFall will help, but I don't see it dramatically increasing the install base until late Spring/early Summer.

Even then I think The Show will help delay that increase in the margin.

Just an obvious random thought: but I wish Sony would've made this machine 100% backwards compatible.

I'm dying to play NHL 14, GTA V and The Show 13(again).

I feel this is a safe place to say Titanfall does nothing for me. Looks like COD with mechs. And mechs are stupid.

Was going to say that in the official Titanfall thread, but didn't want to deal with the backlash from fans of the game.

I'd like this post, but mechs are not stupid. Titanfall looks stupid to me, though, so kudos there.

It doesn't matter. We've known about Titanfall for ages. Anyone serious about it probably already has their XBone or PC to play it on. Sales will go up slightly, but nowhere near enough to make a dent.

If you noticed, PS4 games outsold EVERY single XBone game but one. Call of Duty: Ghosts. EA knows their crowd for this game. Would being on multiplatform sell more? Of course it would.

A CoD clone with double jumps and mechs should not be a system mover in any large fashion.

Of course that's all just speculation by me. I know there are people out there waiting for Titanfall to drop to purchase their XBones, but there are probably a number of people out there waiting to purchase their PS4 for The Show. A smaller number for The Show, but my guess would be that the gap doesn't close all too much.

I also hope it doesn't. I want MS to feel the repercussions for their early stupidity, blunders and terrible executives like Mattrick. Yes, I know he's gone (to be Zynga's CEO. Another strike against that ****ing terrible company). No that doesn't mean I forgive them.

Just had to figure out after a couple of fails that it's easiest just to turn them inside out to put them on, then it's fast and easy.

I'm happy for Sony and happy myself as a gamer with the PS4. I don't have the time or $ to go with multiple consoles anymore. This time last year I was open to either, but MS alienated me with their attempts, so a part of me wants to see them struggle, but only to a point as competition is a must and hopefully they change their ways to give gamers a better experience rather than nickel and dim ing us. Sony is not perfect and we should hold their feet to the fire if they slip up as well, but I see more effort in their part over the last year and with the PS4. Keep it up Sony.

But same like you, no more time to play multiple consoles compared to back then. Im happy with PS4, still keeping 360 though because I like playing Port Royale 3 (hated the pc version).

For those that stream is there an optimum upload speed you need to get a relatively clean upload with minimal to no buffering? I'm having nothing but issues, my upload speed is capped at 4 which appears to be low when compared to others but Im never even getting to 4 and most speed tests I run on the PS4 are peaking at 2.8 or bottoming out below even 1.0. Ive tried broadcasting in best and medium with nothing but buffering, freezing or the video completely vanishing. Ive tried broadcasting games against the CPU thinking that would look good at the very least when compared to playing an online game with someone yet Im getting the same results. Ive tried port forwarding when that was mentioned to me and nothing makes a difference. Im wired not wireless as well, the gameplay itself isnt an issue but the uploaded stream is horrible to the point that Id have to run it on low settings and at that point its not even worth broadcasting it. I was hoping someone had a similar problem and figured it out or had some advice to try as Im about ready to throw in the towel. Thanks in advance.

For a 1080 stream you'd want around 3.5-4 ish up. When streaming you never want to exceed 60-75 of your max up speed either.

4 (don't know if you're in mbps or Mbps, probably Mbps) up as a theoretical Max will most likely be throttled a bit by the PS4 which is what your are seeing happen. That's a bit of a low speed to hope for reliable high quality streaming.

It's just weird because there are a few other guys in the league I'm in who have similar upload speeds who are streaming without a problem, only difference being there speeds appear to be a little more consistent where as mine fluctuate quite a bit consistently. Maybe I have no idea how this works but I would hate to think one of the biggest selling points of the console for me is worthless because of the internet Im stuck with.

I've been intrigued by Titanfall but just can't justify spending $700 on a console, xbox live and Titanfall for one game. I'm more than happy with my PS4, the Two Minute Warning community and look forward to a Show franchise in the future.

I've always bought Sony products and don't think that will ever change. The arrogance of Microsoft and their execs have me anxiously awaiting their failure.

Now Sony just needs to do the right thing from here on out and run away with this thing. Infamous will be the first step, from there on it should be game over.
