Interesting that beta testers have to pay these prices. Are they charging for all of the games now even though it is a closed beta?

The beta is free. Doesn't cost anything to play any of the games.

Today, I say goodbye to last-gen gaming and say hello to next-gen. In a few hours, I'll be trading in my Xbox 360, the games that I have for it, and the controller I have so I can get a PS4. I've worked to earn money, and with these trade-ins I have calculated along with the money I've earned, I'll have ~$566. A PS$ is $400, so I'm deliberating between:

FIFA 14
MLB The Show
EA UFC
Madden 25
NBA 2K/NBA Live 14

I might just wait to get Madden 15, and possibly not get UFC immediately. It's a very tough decision.

Don't buy Madden unless you really need a football game. In one of his interviews Rex said that the game was nothing more than a port.

I wouldn't buy Madden 25 or NBA 2K14 at this point. It won't be long until the newer (and likely better) versions are out.

I traded them both in within the last few weeks. The Show can more than handle my sports gaming needs until late August.

I havent paid a thing as well. Like you, haven't been on PS now since Monday and it was free then. Will have to check it out later to see if it changed.

I just checked, there are a few that are free, but most of them you have to pay now.

This really needs to be a subscription service. No way I pay these prices. I will hook up my old system and fins the games I want before I pay these prices. Come on man!

Service is still in beta. Maybe the prices are part of the beta experiment?
