I'd be all over that EA Access if Sony did offered it. Like Jeremy said, the full game for five days makes it way worth it. Plus I just traded in FIFA 14, so playing that for $5 plus access to other games I'm unsure about, like Madden is a huge plus. Give me five days to spend with Madden, and I'll either be sold or I'll back off. That's not bad for $5 a month. That'll save me $20-30 so I don't have to buy Madden and trade it in in a week like I did with the Show.

Seems like Sony is greedy and won't let the gamer decide for themselves....be real if MS did what Sony is doing everyone would be killing them on here

Another difference between this and PS Now is that you download the games with EA and not stream. So those of us without super great internet speeds can actually use the service.

If you rather play the game for 5 days to decide if you want it or not and pay EA $5 a month to do so, more power to you.

I fear it will be too late for any of the sports games to take advantage of it this year as even once it is out, the devs have to implement support for it in game as well. The Show 14 has it now, but lacks the menu to load the MP3s into it like the PS3, so it would still need an update to make it work. I would say we will be lucky to get it in The Show 15 at this point.

Maybe if Xbox announces it, that will get a push from Sony for it....

Not if they implement it like the 360 did, in the background..

Yep....EA can easily put in a demo for us for FREE to play before the game comes out.



And EA will be posting their new games on the store as they usually do. They can easily post old games to rent on PSNow too.

Ea Access Madden is not a demo, it's the full game so try harder, try again..

You better read the fine print Odogg.....You have x amount of hours to buy it.

Maybe I'm getting to old for this. I mean it's not about Sony vs Microsoft here. It's about EA and what they're trying to do. PS+ and XBox Live have been giving us great free deals on a monthly basis. For the month of July, we've been playing an EA game, Dead Space 3 on the PS3 for free. This choice of paying $30 a year or $5 a month to play this game or any other EA game in the future just leaves a bad taste. What if then UbiSoft? 2K? Bungie? Insomoniac? etc?

Well, in other news tomorrow is a big day for us with PSNow as we all get the beta. The prices are ridiculous and I won't pay it, well maybe I'll play a free game to test and give them feedback. Like everyone says, we have choices..Oh, at the end they did mention a possible subscription maybe in the works.

Hope you are right on that. I'm like a broken record, but the lack of custom audio has been the one sticking point for me so far in these so called Next Gen consoles. For all the better graphics and gameplay, the audio in sports games has taken a huge step backwards since this has been taken away.

Yeah $3 for a 4 hour rental is crazy. What if the game sucks or is buggy, can I get a refund?

Unless it's a must play game, I'll wait for subscription.

All of a sudden my ps4 is running super slow. Slow to load up to start, slow through the menus, slow to load up games. All of this is out of no where really.

I did update to the new software right before this happened. But I don't that it may have caused it since I haven't seen any reports of anything. Could just be coincidence or maybe not. Something isn't right with my system. I did the rebuild database option in safe mode but no dice. Anyone else have a similar problem or anything ? Thanks in advance.
