150 a year isn't that bad at all, especially if they put some really good games on there. I would do that in a heartbeat (if the library improves a lot).

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
sorry if you played my "ghost" still figuring out how this game works online.
Lets do the math, if you buy PS3 now ($300) plus buy the old games you want for $10...in the long run this will be cheaper instead of paying annually the amount of $150.(Not directed at you personally)
GTFO!!!!!!!!!! $150??? Are you kidding me??? No one is paying that especially when there's more PSN games than disc based games, only PS3 exclusives from Sony in Killzone 3 and Twisted Metal and in general, the entire games list is average at best.
Sorry but this WAS a great idea but thus far, it's been horribly implemented and I doubt that it's going to get any better.
If anything, Sony would be better off canning PS Now and do what EA is doing with EA Access. Being able to download and play all the Sony exclusives for a monthly/yearly fee would be great.
Oh well, whatever.
Even for $100 annual payment is still expensive...even if they have a great library. THESE ARE ALL OLD GAMES.
I'll give in if for $100 if this would include PS+ and PS Now.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I would at least wait to pick it up until they sort out their server issues.
The servers have been dysfunctional for 75% of the time that the game has been out, which prevents you from sending friend to friend challenges, downloading friends' DNA, or inviting friends to your league.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I cant see me doing it. EA is only 30 and gives discounts, early trials and older games. I'm already paying 50 for PS plus and I have $15 a month Gamefly for games that I dont want to buy but have some interest in. That plus I spend 3-400 bucks a yr on games I want to buy.
Now I would have to spend 150 more for PS Now? Nah. Now if they became a streaming version of Gamefly and had newer games, I would drop Gamefly in a heartbeat.Comment

Unlock the world of EA. Experience unlimited access to a collection of top EA titles, trials of select new games, and more with an EA Play membership.
How much does EA Access cost?
Membership in EA Access has been priced affordably at $4.99 per month, but you can save even more: $29.99 for a full year.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Classics are 1 thing… and I'd like to think that the people who care most about classic games already (still) have the console to play said classics on.
With the games list I saw with the 1st beta and the prices associated with it, I havent even given PS Now a 2nd thought. It was such a bad selection (imo) I deleted it day 2.
The word "outrageous " comes to mind when I see what's offered compared to what they're charging. Unless eventual Ps4 games are added to th4 library I just can't see how anyone could justify it. Its kind of mind boggling.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
They need some PS One games on there. I would be all over Wing Commander 4, Disruptor and the old school Tom Clancy Rainbow 6 games from the 1990s.Comment

Nice review! You pretty much hit all the same feelings that I have on the game.Pure Pool is awesome. Very impressed. I wrote a review on my OS blog.

Aside from the ball paths, everything added on screen is worthless and distracting. It really takes you out of the experience, too, because the game is really beautiful to look at otherwise. If they added in the option to switch off the HUD, and perhaps added another option to switch ball paths off except for pulling a trigger to show them (a la Madden's Coach Cam), the game would improve greatly.Last edited by spidertour02; 08-02-2014, 08:18 PM.Comment
