Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I actually enjoy the fact that most of the free games have been Indie games, because it's doubtful I would have even heard of many of them, much less downloaded and played them.
IMO, the Indie games are more simplistic and "fun" focused, which is a nice change of pace from the AAA titles that are so focused on visuals.
I just got it last night, and man, do I suck at it!Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That is if you kept your PS1, PS2 or PS3 (backward compatible).... but yea...Im only interested if this is like the PS plus with yearly membership ($50 or less) and you could play whatever games u like from PS1-PS3 with no time limit. I was so excited about PS Now because I skipped PS3 and went with 360. But now, with all these crazy pricing, NOT ANYMORE. I'll just buy PS3 then buy the old games i like. I have my PS2 and its still working..and i have the games i like in that machine.
Whoever thinks about this about renting a game for $4 for 4 hours is a FOOL. And if the pricing of rents will be the reason why PS Now will flop...i hope that FOOL(s) be fired and never work again in gaming industry.
However I don't see them having a yearly fee that is very reasonable but we'll see.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Originally posted by mestevoEngadget tweeted out a post from their forums that they liked... it suggested a $150/year fee I believe for unlimited access.
GTFO!!!!!!!!!! $150??? Are you kidding me??? No one is paying that especially when there's more PSN games than disc based games, only PS3 exclusives from Sony in Killzone 3 and Twisted Metal and in general, the entire games list is average at best.
Sorry but this WAS a great idea but thus far, it's been horribly implemented and I doubt that it's going to get any better.
If anything, Sony would be better off canning PS Now and do what EA is doing with EA Access. Being able to download and play all the Sony exclusives for a monthly/yearly fee would be great.
Oh well, whatever.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Basically $12 a month is bad? EA is $5 a month. If Sony can get good games then I see it being worth it.
I probably won't use it but it wouldn't be a scam.MLB: Texas Rangers
Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
NCAA: SMU, UTA
NFL: Dallas Cowboys
NHL: Dallas Stars
NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
For me it all comes down to whether they charge per month or all at once for the year. I know it's the same amount but it's a lot easier for me to swallow paying $12 a month and canceling if I end up not seeing the value over paying $150 up front and then not finding the value while being locked in. I know it all comes down to virtually the same price but I'd try it our for a month at $12 but wouldn't touch it if it required I pay $150 up front.Comment

Umm what? Can it? Talk about going off the deep end. This library isn't going to be static. They will be adding more games.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
EA was 30 a year...150 is not worth it for only PS3 games....is PS Now ever including PS4 games? I'd want current gen stuff personally. I don't play much old stuff anymoreNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
