Its odd because I could get in sessions with randoms with no problem. I did get d/c around 2 am my time, I figured that was the bed calling.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Don't know if you can attribute this outage to hackers. The usual suspects haven't claimed anything so far like they usually do. It could be a genuine issue with PSN.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Should your account show the same things from one PS4 to the next? Because my account does not show any friends/trophies on my PS4 but does on my friends.
Is this because PSN is down.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Why do hackers find joy in ruining peoples' holidays? Absolute scumbags. My good friend across the country got a PS4 today, and we were supposed to start a Madden league. I guess that's postponed now. Not trying to play the internet thug role, but I wish I could meet these hackers in real life.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I had some best buy credits and I returned a few things yesterday and was able to snap up a 2nd PS4 for $349 with a free game. I only had to pay about $69 out of my pocket.
Anyway....the main reason this interests me is that I have a 13 year old daughter who is getting into a lot of PS4 games and it's going to eat into my playing time....hence the 2nd ps4. I also have a 2TB drive I want to load into the new console. I am looking for guidance here. Should I sign in with the new PS4 and establish my PSN account before switching the drive out? Or should I switch the drive before I ever power on the unit? I have already replaced my main PS4 drive so I am familiar with the process but not sure if this being my "2nd" PS4 if it has to be done in a special order. I obviously want to wait to download my large digital collection after the new drive is in place. There is no way to copy these directly from my other PS4....right?
Also....I am open to recommendations on how to handle 2 ps4 where I will want to be using both simultaneously. Not necessarily online but so I can play sports games while she plays LBP3 and other adventure type games. Sharing saves would be a plus so I can move from console to console if needed.
Anyway....wanted to open a discussion on best practices for this scenario. Had 2 PS3s at one point without any problems but I understand the PS4 isn't as simple.
THanks and merry Christmas.Comment

Oddly, I was able to install and update my new games (Lego Batman 3 and LittleBigPlanet 3 ... hooray!) even though everything else is inaccessible.Comment

I'm thinking of getting a 1.5 or 2TB HDD soon.Comment
