Was able to log in about an hour+ ago (finally!) and immediately started downloading The Last of Us (digital version came with the console). Only 3 GB out of 10 so far (I don't have the best internet package), but I'm afraid to log out now...might leave it downloading for a while, hopefully it's done before I go to bed.

I'm not really into all the zombies and weirdo's games, but my wife must have made the right decision getting me this bundle (without even knowing), since the game got some nice reviews. Once I'm done with COD Ghosts (she got it for cheap, as well) I'll try TLOU.

By the way, guys, what happened to all the PS4 demos? I go to the demo section and it's all full/trial versions. Where are all the free demos? What happened?

Don't know if you played any of the Uncharted games, but The Last of Us was developed by the same studio, so in other words, you know you're getting a quality title. I am looking forward to playing this on my new PS4; I got maybe 25-30% through the PS3 version but stopped playing because I figured I'd just wait for the PS4 version once I upgraded consoles.

Yeah, I did play the first UC. I will definitely play TLOU...it's almost done downloading it, and I'll call it a night and will probably start playing it once I'm done with COD Ghost. I have decided to finish each game (or give it up) before starting another one, unless it's a sport game. That's what I did with the PS3 when I first got it. After a while I obviously gave up this method...and will probably give it up again...

Just wish I could try the Live 15 demo, but it seems like there's only a digital version to buy. I don't understand why they list all these under demos. What happened to the good old days when all you were able to download was a free demo?

It scares me to think that some day, someone like me who only buys physical copies (doesn't even play online) will some day have to go to some kind of an 'old record store' (like we have today) to buy one of "those old discs we used to have years ago"...if it will even exist for newer games.

I hope the gaming industry doesn't force me to go online/digital exclusively...that might be the day I retire the controller.

agree I hate download games has it can take a long time to download and then if the system breaks and you have to get a new system you have to spend a long time to download it again.

You can still go to the "demos" section of PSN, but most of the demos require you to download the entire game. Then it plays like a demo, but once you unlock it, you don't have to download another big file. Kinda sucks in a way. I wanted to play NBA Live and it downloaded the whole shebang. Demos are becoming less and less (both on PSN and Live). Both companies are going to push into the "streaming" gig soon. Look at PSN with Play. It's a rental service. At least the games are full verison and save carry over. To bad there are no PS4 games yet for it.

I went online again, and it said that I was supposed to receive and email and verify it. I haven't received anything even after asking to resend it. Even went to the webpage on my PC and asked to send the email, but received nothing.

Same exact problem here, been waiting for that email for about 22 hours.

What exactly are you trying to do here that requires an email? Is this the initial setup or something? I am back online with my original ps4 and I now have a 2nd ps4 installed and downloading all my digital programs. Only thing I can't do yet is claim my free game via the website. This is the 4 games choose 1 promo. Was gonna grab destiny since I have the other titles already.

It's been about 3 years since I've been on PSN so I had to update my email which I did but now I'm waiting for a email to update my account settings.

I must remind people, during this whole PSN mess...DO NOT SIGN OUT OF PSN!

I still have not been able to sign in since logging out yesterday. I've done everything suggested to get it running short of taking my ps4 and a tv to where my modem is and hard wiring the connection...which might just be my next move.

PS has acknowledged the issue and has people working on it, but no telling when it will work effectively.

Yeah, I did that and it took me 45 minutes of just trying again and again. Yes, my system is wired, so that may help.

If anyone is still getting the NW-31194-8 error when trying to log in. Go to internet settings and manually change the MTU from 1500 to 1473. I did this and got right on, and am playing TLOU Factions.
