Yeah, I know about the 1TB console. Sony should phase out the 500GB model and replace it with the 1TB model. Allows them to keep the price at $400 and avoid any price drops which I honestly still don't see them doing as there's no reason whatsoever for them to do so. Add in the Batman bundle that comes out a week later and if a price drop happens, it will be in the fall. Not at E3 because it simply makes no business sense whatsoever. I don't know what the pre-order numbers are for the two Batman bundles but any price drop announcement at E3 would result in either refunds or cancellations. Neither of which is going to happen as that would be one stupid decision from a business standpoint.

Xbox One SHOULD outsell PS4 in November and December when you look at each consoles exclusives and whatnot but unless Microsoft blows away Sony, I still don't see a price drop until E3 2016. All Sony has to do is absorb the blow from November and December and they'll be fine because Uncharted 4 in March and SFV in April 2016 at the very least will even it all out so if you're Sony, you're not worried whatsoever. Besides, any price drop announcement at this year's E3 would be like a panic move ala Sega back in 1995. That killed Sega. Don't see Sony doing the same thing and would be very surprised if they did.

Back to the 1TB console, if I was Sony, I wouldn't even announce it until their October show because once again, the Batman bundles. I would focus on that because it will sell and has already since a lot of places are sold out via pre-orders. Also, they would be smarter to wait closer to Morpheus launches before announcing a price drop. it would be a better move. And for Morpheus, it's rumored early 2016. Personally, im predicting September 2016. It can be after next year's E3 and Gamescom plus they need to have at least a few good games at launch for it. Can't be like Wii U, Xbox One and PS4's weak launches. Can't just be some crappy tech demos.

Just have to wait and see what happens.

Agree that Sony has no reason to panic but the gap in sales for the October with Halo, November, and December will be bigger then last year which will for sure close the gap in the U.S which is the big boy here. MS knows it will not outsell the PS4 worldwide. The MS mojo is to outsell in their own country and be close to or equal in Europe. After that is irrlevant since Sony has foot hold on those other smaller countries.

A new SOny 1tb console can only come for xmas to counter MS sales. Because no way will they release at e3 or after when Batman console is selling for 440 so once that dies down they will release the 1tb for 400 in late year.

The news about how Microsoft will be streaming XBOX games with the PC environment is very telling. The MS "mojo" isn't getting an XBOX into every gamers hands but to get XBOX Live into everyone's hands. That's where the money is. MS knows what its doing. Get everyone to Windows 10 which has the XBOX app and with Win10 use all its tentacles to reach us.

Enough talk about MS, Primal Carnage: Extinction is getting a release on the PS4 before the end of the year, including all its single player and multi-player features.

I played the trial for the original Vita version of Tearaway and loved it, then I bought it... but haven't yet taken it out of the shrink wrap.

It will certainly lose its luster being on PS4 instead of the touch features the Vita version had, unless they find a way to use the touch pad with it.

The neat thing about tearaway was the way it used the cameras and touch pads to make it feel like like a little world in a box instead of a game on a handheld screen. Without that, I'm not sure the game retains all of it's charm.

True in regards to NA but even if Microsoft wins NA, unless it's a complete blowout, it will be seen as a failure simply because they're expected to win in NA just like Sony is expected to win in Japan.

That's why I said that I don't see any announcement for the 1TB PS4 or a price drop being announced until later this year due to the Batman bundles. In the mean time, Sony should phase out the 500GB model so when the 1TB model launches, it will be the only current model available and of course, any game bundles at the time.

Yeah, I'm not sure how this game will translate to the PS4. I really enjoyed the original Tearaway on the Vita. Just another example of the Vita getting left in the dust; I fully expect the Gravity Rush sequel to wind up on PS4, too.

Doubt it... If I was to guess (Especially since MS took jab at Sony already in their conference about having to pay for games you already own) I'd bet Sony goes the "We are about looking forward and not back" counter jab.

They're already monetizing that with PS Now. They'd have to localize them for the PS4 or eat the cost of streaming them to you for them to give you access to previous games.
