Seen lots of people comment on the Gold and the Elite headphones around here. As a 90% offline gamer, I've never really felt a need to purchase gaming headphones before but my daughter has commented a few times recently that she can hear me playing games after she's in bed. Since I try to save the Far Cry/Last of Us type of games for then, I figure it's probably not a bad idea to pick up a pair. Tried to grab the Golds on Prime Day for $40 but missed out. Today, I see the Silvers are down to $22. For someone that's new to this aspect, would those be good enough? Other than the wireless aspect, is there anything I'd be missing out on that the Golds offer?

I feel like it's pretty common, not really overtly obvious how to wear them unless you are experienced with headphones and know by the angled driver.

Definitely didn't put them on backwards. They just ain't workin properly.

seems to be a common issue for headsets that don't have a boom mic. Some people have issues with it, others don't. Not sure if it has to do with your surroundings or your own voice though.


Edit - looks like the mic does fold out (and would imply why some people accidentally put them on backwards, because they aren't flipping the mic out?) Have you done that?

Edit 2 - Or maybe I was wrong, might only be the silver headset that has the mic fold out...

Ya that's what I read. I'm actually moving over to Xbone, not sure if I'm gonna keep my PS or not. Destiny is too addicting I need to get rid of it cold turkey.

Destiny is also on Xbox One. Maybe you should get rid of the game instead of the console.

There's no way I would start it over on Xbox. I've logged hundreds of hours and unlocked everything. I aint doin that all over again lol

The main attraction is Halo - that's why I want an Xbox

If you want an Xbox One for Halo, you should just keep the PS4 until then and trade it in towards Xbox One. Until then, keep playing Destiny. Hehehehe.

Lol...even if you are going to primarily play xb1, unless you need the money I'd highly suggest keeping the ps4. Always nice to switch it up between the two. And then you'll never have any regrets either

Bruh...it's impossible.

I quit for like 3 weeks and came back stronger than ever. Game is beyond addicting. Just get an X1 too and keep the PS4.

I considered getting rid of my PS4 and just going with the One but it's nice having both.
