Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I honestly don't think that would really help all that much because the rod is fully encased behind the plastic. It could break through even with tape on it I would think. Mine might have just been a weak piece of plastic or had a crack in it I didn't notice from the start. Other than that, I've been really happy with my set.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I donated my PS4 to the Boys & Girls Club I work at and I'm planning on buying a new one this weekend. I know that the $299 price change starts Sunday, but I have some Best Buy Certs that expire on Saturday.
My question is: Would I be able to buy tomorrow or Saturday and get the price difference credited back on Sunday?Favorite Teams:

From BB support:
You would have within 15 days of the original day of purchase to process a return or exchange. If you have Elite or Elite Plus status, then that time frame would be an extended (30 days for Elite members and 45 days for Elite Plus members). You will just want to bring the console and your purchase receipt up to a Best Buy store to process the transaction.
Also for your situation of a price drop:
"If we lower our price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request."Joshua:
"D.O.D. pension files indicate current mailing as: Dr. Robert Hume,
a.k.a. Stephen W. Falken, 5 Tall Cedar Road, Goose Island, Oregon"

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think we all take for granted how there are some kids out there that would love to have a ps4 or XB1 but their family has to decide how they're going to pay the rent or heat or gas to go to work. While some of us on this site are fortunate enough to buy multiple consoles for their home. Sports Gaming was a huge part of my childhood so it's great to pay it forward. I'd implore anyone out there to volunteer or do the same.Favorite Teams:

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Emulation on PS4 news expected tomorrow at PSX. People really upset over this blurb via a Dark Cloud trailer that was accidentally posted early:
Gameplay footage from Dark Cloud PS2 game on the PS4 system. Experience Dark Cloud with 1080p up-rendering and Trophies. Additional enhanced features include Shareplay (Active PS Plus membership may be required), Remote Play, Activity Feeds and Second Screen support for game manuals through the PS Vita system or PlayStation App.
[…] PS2 Classics and PS2-formatted discs are incompatible with the PS4 system.
The implication being you'll need to re-buy anything you want to play, I believe. Doesn't really bother me, but GAF is in a tizzy, lol.
Actual info tomorrow it sounds like.
