I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Damn, was about to pick up twisted metal black for the upcoming Christmas party, but just found out you can't even play 4 player split screen. PS2 games on PS4 only supports 2 players. Thought I'd give a heads-up to anyone else who's in a similar situation.Comment

PlayStation 4 Discussion
Boltman I want to thank you and others who have educated me on Gaming Monitors. After setting up my 24 inch Dell Monitor and using it the last 24 hours. There is no way in hell that I would go back to gaming on a TV. Sitting in my recliner and my monitor right in front of me, the picture is amazing!!! Wish I had of done this sooner.
Thanks again for showing me the light. Forgot to mention I haven't even calibrated or even made any major tweaks.

How do you calibrate it?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Calibrate may be wrong word.
I just google the model number and either add "settings" or "calibration" and usually forum posts from sites like tomshardware pop up from people who have had their monitor calibrated or have experimented and found the best settings for performance/image quality.
For example, I kinda tried to do it myself at first and I was using this super bright setting and had my colors really over saturated. I thought it looked great but I realized I was losing a lot of detail and since the change I can't believe I've ever not used the settings I use now. Depending on try source (PC, Xbox, PlayStation) I have slight differences and saved three different profiles I can switch to with this switch thing that came with my monitor"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Go to preset mode and select multimedia, then go to brightness and put it on 63 leave everything else alone. And go to display and change the response time to fast and that's it you're done. Those are the best settings for this monitor which gives you the most accurate colors and picture..

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
You guys have peaked my interest. What makes the gaming monitors so much better? Is it just the response time? Image quality? I'm hoping to finish my basement soon and was looking at a projector for my man cave but that seems to be going in the opposite direction of what you are recommending.PSN: OldStyle24Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The response time is a huge reason why they are so much better. Especially in FPS games, it's almost like night and day. Even in The Show, I was barely able to get out of Rookie +++ on hitting now I'm near All Star. Yea the games look prettier on big screens but they play so much better on my BenQ, I will never go back

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah the response time/input lag is the main reason and it's a big deal. I am by no means a great multiplayer shooter gamer but the advantage from the monitor usually means I'm always at least in the middle of the pack in online matches.
Image quality wise, Some games look better on my benq, others look better on my Sammy TV."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Well...it didn't take long at all.
Less than a day after officially leaving Konami, Sony has signed Hideo Kojima and his newly founded company Kojima Productions to a multi-game contract. The first game is a new IP, console exclusive to PS4 and is expected to become a compelling franchise.
