The show 16 just froze me lol first time I've ever seen that on the ps4.

Weird, only happens when playing the show, wonder if it's something with the game .

I'm having a freezing issue....when I get done playing a game I click on close app to play a different game.. And when going to game screen..it freezes then after few minutes goes back to normal.

This just started the past week and not sure why it's happening..my ps4 is barely a yr old I got it right before Madden 15 came out..bought it brand new from Walmart.

Well I was able to get through another full Show game without an issue, I'm had my cable box next to the ps4, nows it's in the glass shelf alone and I'm hoping it will be fine, I mean I just bought it last night. It gets pretty hot on top too. Hope it doesn't have an over heating issue

I got a PS4 from Amazon Thursday. It was working fine until today. I hit the power button, get the blue light for like 2 seconds and it shuts off.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

That's what mine was doing, I unplugged it and the hdmi cable and then plug them back after like 10 min. And it's seems ok thus far, I just bought mine last night , not cool

I unplugged the cords for about 30 minutes. Plugged them back in and the system worked for all of 2 minutes and then froze. I had to unplug the power cord from the back of the system to shut if off.

I'm just sending mine back to Amazon. I already ordered another one which will be here Tuesday along with the Show.

Hopefully you don't have any more issues with yours.

Quick freezes after being off for a bit sounds like a hardware issue, freezes after a period of time are indicative of a heat issue.

Either way, I'd pursue all paths to a replacement for sure.

And that's the main reason why I never buy consoles or big electronics at mom and pops stores. Most of the time they don't take any returns..

I paid a tad under with no tax, but still it is brand new, shouldn't have had this issue , it's gone now, hope it doesn't happen again.

of course it should not but is electronics and issues can happen. Problem is that you cant exchange it as you could with gamestop or best buy or amazon

so if there was an issue and they were going to contact sony for you, how long do you think that whole deal was going to take for you to get one. Sony is going to pay little mind when a mom and pop store that they do not have business with calls them.

Mom and pop stores are fine for early releases.

The fact that they would not exchange for you is horrible
