Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I thought this game looked cool back when they showed it at E3 for the first time but the only thing is I don't play online and I think it is a online only type of game.

Naturally, we're all (well some of us) are excited about NEO's release next month. Found some screen shots of Uncharted 4 from an article by Business Insider Tech on differences between HDR and SDR with Microsoft's recently released XBox1 S model. Again, for you to notice it, you're going to need a TV that supports HDR.
Business Insider Tech also put out a simple guide for those looking to purchase an HDR TV. http://www.businessinsider.com/what-...d-i-buy-2016-8Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The thing about HDR is that you have to see it in person to fully appreciate it. It makes everything look so much better. I wonder if and when the other developers will start to make their games in HDR.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If Sony shows Spider-Man again this year, it would most likely be at PSX in December. Insomniac just recently started full development on the game and I would say that it's a 2018 release. Game is being built from the ground up using their Ratchet and Clank engine and Marvel wants the game to be of excellent quality which is why they went with Sony, decided that it would be a PS4 exclusive and then settled on Insomniac as the developer. The wait will be long but easily worth it in the end in my opinion.
I am so glad they went with Sony and Insomniac has I love Ratchet and clank and yeah I am thinking we will not see more of the game in till PSX but I hope we do. I hope we see more before then even if it is just a few screen shoots or a preview saying what kind of things you can do in the game. But yeah I do think it is going to be a while and could even be 2018 like you said for 2 reason.
1. Just like a month ago they said it would be a while before they gave a date for the game coming out.
2. At E3 all we got was a trailer. No previews talking about features in the game and no hands on demos. Not getting a hands on demo means that it is still a long way off but thankfully the game should be getting at least a 2 year development instead of being like a 1 year development like you get with movie tie in games with it not being a movie tie in.
Funny thing is I thought it said September 2nd and I was like that is close surprised we get a date that close and not earlier and then I hear December lol.Last edited by Smallville102001; 08-19-2016, 04:23 AM.Comment

Interesting I don't have a 4k tv and I hadn't heard of the HDR thing in till just like a month ago. Colors look better there.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The Spiderman game is not supposed to be a movie tie in I thought? It is supposed to be its own alternate universe like Marvel & DC have been doing lately.
I am also excited to see Insomniacs stab at the series. I have lots of confidence by how their work speaks already.
Have not been this interested in a comic book game since probably the NES/SNES days of mediocrity by Ljn.
X-men Arcade and Superman Arcade just before that were the bees knees back then.

Its not a movie tie in that is what I was saying. I was saying it is not like a 1 year development like you get with a movie tie in but much longer and its own thing. Well I love the batman arkham games. Not only are they great comic book games but they are just great games over all. Batman arkham city, knight and origins are all in my top 10 favorite games of all time. I love batman he is my second favorite superhero just behind spiderman but its time for spiderman to get a great game again. Batman now has the best movies with the dark knight trilogy and the best games with the batman arkham knight franchise. The last good spiderman game was spiderman shattered dimensions in September of 2010. So going on 6 years and the last great one was ultimate spiderman in September of 2005 so going on 11 years.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Ah, I see now. Completely agreed. I bet they want to time the marketing for around the time the movie does and is ready to drop.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The Playstation Neo will be much more powerful (from what we've heard) than the regular Playstation. The main draw again will be the HDR/4K support as well as the VR capabilities, but I think the extra power will definitely make a difference as devs start to design for this increase performance.
So while I think that upgrading from an Xbox One to a One S isn't really that worth it if you don't have an HDR/4K TV (unless you're like me and need to have the latest and greatest thing), the Playstation to Playstation Neo upgrade might be worth it even if you don't have an HDR/4K TV.
We shall see, it will be fun watching the NEO reveal coming up next month.Fino Alla Fine

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
One thing I've noticed with 4.0 update. The PS4 is much quieter. My fans barely turn on like before. I thought it was a placebo but been testing out games and it's definitely not.

when is the official release?People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Is this when playing digital or disc games? Or both? Cool observation, I'll have to mess around with it too.
