I love the new OS and the folders. Question though: since I have two PS4s will I have to redo all the folders on the second one like the first or is the folder organization tied to your PSN profile?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
For HDR, you need a 4K UHD TV with HDR. HDR must be 10 BIT to get the true and full effects of it. Also, wide color gamut must be YES when looking at listings.
In addition, the outgoing source to the TV (PS4 Slim, PS4 PRO, Xbox One Slim) MUST support HDR and finally, the games themselves MUST support HDR. Thus far, NBA 2K17 (multi-platform), Forza Horizon 3 (Xbox One Slim) and Gears of War 4 (Xbox One Slim) are the closest upcoming games that support HDR on their respective consoles.
Future games supporting HDR is entirely dependent on the developer/publisher of the respective game.
The older PS4's with the new firmware update will render HDR compatible game on a compatible HDR tv as well.Comment

Yep. It's tied to the individual PSN ID and PS4

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Update seems pretty good overall. Folders are nice and I really like the new Quick Menu. My only issue right now is that I can't hit down on a game tile for more info, but I assume that's something with Sony's servers since it has to pull that info from somewhere. I've had it happen a few times in the past and it's always cleared up pretty quickly.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Love Folders!!! Only minor annoyance is not being able to move the PlayStation Store, Library, TV/Video and What's New tiles into a folder. But im still happy as I cut down the tiles on screen from 24 to 8 which is awesome.
Don't know about you guys but I have four folders. One for the entertainment apps, one for Games that I have completed, one for Games that are still active and one folder for the main games (not PSN/Indies) like Witcher, TLOUR and AC Unity.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I have a folder called Miscellaneous and Games. That's it. So ends up PS Store. Games. TV. Miscellaneous and library.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm going to keep my active games as separate tiles on the dashboard. The games I'm not currently playing often will be in a Games folder, all the apps in an Applications folder and then the TV folder.
I'm keeping the Captures app separate since it looks like they removed the ability to see screencaps from the game tile, unless I just missed it.Comment
