Honestly I forgot to even ask on OS since I picked up the Slim. Why is that little strip even there on the TouchPad now?

The new controller feels great tho. Is it anything like the Xbox elite controller? He'll no lol, the elite still destroys it. But it def feels better than the vanilla DS4 controller.

No clue what the thin light on the TouchPad is for or if there's anything else new about the Slim's controller.

Has Sony released screen shots of games running on the Pro? I would like to see how better it looks compared to the PS4. Also would be nice to see the differences with HDR and a 1080p TV.

Because some games use that light to relate health so having it where you can see the light is helpful.

Does the new slim controller have more weight to it or is it the same?

Thanks people saying it was better made me think something more was different about it.

There are some 4K videos online if you have a 4K TV. There is a compilation video along with a cool with of Horizon Zero Dawn. Spiderman looked really good. How much better than normal? Hard to say exactly but I liked them.

I personally bought and returned a Vizio since I thought it sucked despite decent reviews from them. They do all their testing in a pitch black room directly in front of the TV. I rarely watch TV or game in conditions like that.

I bought the Sony x850d 55" version and it's gorgeous with great viewing angles. Love it and you can find that on sale for close to $1000 I believe. It was $1499 over here in Canada on sale and I have no regrets. I wanted an IPS panel for better viewing angles and it came down to this or an LG. Samsung has decent angles but not Vizio.
I use Amazon user reviews, Best Buy user reviews and do searches for other site reviews. One site gave the Sony x800d a 90/100 and that Samsung ks8000 an 88/100. They all vary from one to the other and to the next. As long as they are all pretty close to each other overall, then you know it's good. If it's all mixed then it's 50/50 and if it's all bad, well, stay away. LOL.

That TV is $1200 but like the Samsung KS8000, it's just not worth double the price for me and I wanted a smaller screen size as the reason im buying the TV isn't for the 4K resolution, it's for the HDR.

Sorry for the TV talk post.

                    Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

A few questions I have that I haven't found a direct response for.

This morning I went to download the new star wars battlefront patch however truns out my 2 TB hard drive is now full

The thing is I don't have that many games installed the problems seems to steam from the Patch Sizes and DLC sizes which a lot of crazy insane GB's

Anyway I'm trying to clear space without needing to delete my favorite games..

#1 is there a bigger HD I can buy that is like 5 TB or something to place in my ps4?

#2 Do Digital Games eat up more space then say the disk version?

For example I have over watch and Dynasty digital which eats up loads of space if I bought actual hard copies of them would this his reduce hard drive space or would it still be the same? Basically I want to know if owning a disk base copy is the way to go in terms of it not eating a lot of space

2nd for the amount of games I have its sad that patches and DLC eat up more hard drive space then the game it self..

Anyway I want to clear about 500GB to 1TB without reducing my game inventory

Is there any suggtions on how to clear space and what all besides games DLC patches eat up hard drive space on ps4? Does having extra accounts add into that?

Anyway I sometimes wish patches and DLC were not so huge in the GB department..

If I can't reduce space I may have to do a factory reset and just clear space that way. Last thing I want though thx guys

I believe 4TB is the max right now.

No. Entire game gets installed regardless of digital or physical.

I don't believe patches always dramatically increase space used, especially if they're just replacing existing files/content. You'll need the space there to download the package initially, but during the install process, it takes the package and extracts it into the games install. The patch package is then removed.

Obviously, DLC and new content patches will increase space.

Captures (screenshots/clips) may be using up a lot of space as well. User game saves also take up space.

Seems kind of drastic. Why don't you just delete games?

Is there any place the sells 4TB ps4 harddrives? If so can you link em I wonder if Amazon Sells any? I do a lot of shopping there so.

Anywhere where can I find a 4 TB HD and what's the cheapest price I can get for one thx

6TB is the max, but 4TB is the max if you want to do the resume play option on games. Otherwise you have to power down every time.

There's no HDD over 2TB that will fit inside the PS4, so you have to do the Nyko Data Bank or just use a SATA cable.

I have a 2TB drive and have 71 games installed, I'm still over 850GB left. I have no clue how you have a 2TB drive filled, delete some games you aren't playing.
