yeah i upgraded one but i would still prefer external. With multiple consoles, it is much easier to intall on the external from one then just plug into the other or copy to the others internal drive ala xbox. Mostly helps when you bring a game to someone elses house. Wait for a full game download, or wait for a disk install and patch download (and assuming they have room on their system) vs just plugging in your external and inserting disk if need be.

I agree, hope they are adding this in 4.5 which is in beta soon

Like renaming your PSN ID it is one of those architecture projects they don't seem that interested in.

Maybe they'll go along with Steam (at least Steam did this last year, not sure if they will this year at all) and do a "Lunar New Year Sale."

Last year Lunar New Year was on Feb 8, but this year it's Jan 28 so we'll find out if they do anything for that - even if it's just a couple days long.

I have a question. When I play my Ps4, sometimes it goes into rest mode or turns off by itself. I bought Madden 17 a few days ago and it started doing it a day ago. I bought my Ps4 about 2 and half years ago and I can't afford another one and I don't want another one as I have a lot of games on it including 2 games that I downloaded from the store. I think it might be Madden causing it, because I have my Ps4 running on the main menu right now and nothing is happening. It does it on my Madden game, but it doesn't do it on my NBA 2k17. My Madden 17 is a disc while my NBA 2k17 is downloaded. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what can I do?

Sounds like the Power Save Settings... you can set it to never turn off (due to inactivity), if you want:

Settings ---> Power Save Settings:
-- Set Time Until PS4 Turns Off
- Media Playback
- General (Applications)

General is for games and home screen idleness. The fact that it does it for some games and not others is because some game never go inactive, even when running in the background. Hope that helps.

It isn't from that, because I am never inactive when i play my Madden games. It is happening after less than ten minutes of playing. It happens in the middle of a Franchise game.

Ahhhh ok, didn't realize it was doing it while you were actually playing. Have you tried uninstalling (delete) and re-installing from the disc? Your game saves should be ok.

Would this be ok to use for my PS4 Pro so I could not have to disconnect my PSVR to get 4K once I get my 4K TV?

So to use this would I just:

1. Run the PS4 Pro HDMI output to the main input (source) on the device
2. Then run HDMI-1 (output 1) from the device to the PSVR, which would then go from there directly to my TVs HDMI-1
3. And lastly, run HDMI- 2 (output 2) from the device straight out to the TV HDMI-2

Then to play PSVR I just turn the device to input 1 and my tv to HDMI-1 and to play PS4 Pro w 4K and bypass the PSVR I would just turn the device to input 2 and my tv to HDMI-2?

Just want to make sure I'm thinking about this correctly.

I've seen people do that, it's truly a pain though. It beyond baffles me why Sony put such an outdated box with the PSVR and causes issues with HDR and 4K.

Not bad at all since im assuming that doesn't include digital sales. My prediction was always 2m. Should hit that.
