I hate the notification tab now. It used to be categorized now it's a giant long list of downloads, messages, updates etc. absolutely terrible

Got the Sony X800D 43" several days ago. Do you have any calibrations settings to share? Just can't seem to get it quite right yet, at least for my eyes.

After playing 2k17 on a good 4k tv with HDR it's no going back for those on the fence of getting the pro. Once the new games put the Pro to use probably starting with Horizon then the investment will really pay off

Boost mode isn't something that games opt into. Boost mode is for games that specifically have not been patched for the ps4 pro.

Obviously, if a game has a locked frame rate and is hitting it consistently without any issues then you won't notice a difference. Games with a variable frame rate or games that are struggling to maintain its target frame rate will benefit.

Yeah there are games that don't use it hence why they say if is causing problems to turn it off

I juat think the pro will be able to take advantage of its features better with future iterations

Yeah, for something like the Show which suffers framerate dips from its 60 FPS in gameplay in certain stadiums and situations, I'm holding out hope that it'll have some effect there.

Of course, the new game will be a month away by the time the update is available to everyone, so it's not that big a deal in that game's case.

I have yet to try The Show in boost mode but I am just salivating at how good 17 will look with all of the pro enhancements. It's a first party title so I expect some big things.
