I really feel like the Pro should have launched with Boost Mode already a feature. I think that may have won more people over from the start.
Watching all the videos of Boost Mode comparisons so far it's clear that some games will barely benefit (Witcher 3, Bloodborne), but others get pretty great boosts (BF4 was one that seemed to get a pretty massive increase in performance).
Really loving my Pro purchase after adopting Day 1. Loving to see more games come out with high res and high FPS mode options for gamers. I usually go with high res mode but in games like Nioh that 60 fps option is hard to turn down.
Only issue is deciding if I need to upgrade to a HD bigger than 1TB.
Has anyone put out a video or a report of external hard drive vs internal hard drive speed tests on in the new firmware? If there is a big boost externally I will happily use one of my adapters to plug in my HD on the outside.
