No because they need a user base to build the product and then word of mouth will build sales. Just like, as someone said, Rocket League.

I guess that makes sense for those that don't check PS Plus every month.

Exposure wise I get if it goes away. But don't we get to keep it if we download it and keep Plus. Wouldn't that hurt sales in long run?

It's also a PC title which obviously won't be free at launch. So if word of mouth gets around about the PS4 version they'll make some sales in that market.

Again, like Rocket League. There's a lot of parallels here, both in the game and the business side of things.

Somebody a few pages back mentioned that NBA 2K17 didn't look right in HDR to them and I have to second that. Every time I play it, it looks washed out. Last of Us is hit or miss too, sometimes it'll look stunning with HDR on, other times it looks washed out. Almost like the PS4 can't decide how to display it. I have a 43" Sony x800D FWIW.

Ratchet on the other hand looks amazing every time I turn it on. I have no idea why this is happening, especially since some guys here say NBA 2K17 looks life-like in 4K with HDR.

I have a Samsung KS8500, own the PS4 PRO and Xbox-S with NBA 2K17 and IMO there's a BIG difference between how the two look. The Pro version is very clean and crisp compared to its Xbox brother. To the point, I've stopped playing the Xbox VERSION and I was about 50 games into my season.

I have a Samsung KS8500, own the PS4 PRO and Xbox-S with NBA 2K17 and IMO there's a BIG difference between how the two look. The Pro version is very clean and crisp compared to its Xbox brother. To the point, I've stopped playing the Xbox VERSION and I was about 50 games into my season.

So as a new Samsung KS850 SUHD tv owner who is playing the PS4 Pro and is loving it, and is about to get a new Xbox One S tomorrow, should I temper my expectations for 4K/HDR games on the Xbox One S system or is NBA just an anomaly you guys think?

I don't game much on Xbox One so not even sure what all 4K and/or enhanced with HDR games I may have (other than Forza which I know is) but just wondering...

I was primarily an Xbox Gamer, it was my base console, and I used my PS4 for exclusives; however, since I bought the PS4 PRO, I havent bought a game on the Xbox since. Whether 1440P or looking at something in Native 4K, like NBA 2K17, there's a noticeable difference.

Forza Horizon 3 looks absolutely amazing on the Xbox One Slim with upscaled 4K and HDR. Seriously, it looks great on my Sony X800D 4KTV and should look greater on your Samsung KS8500. Gears of War 4 also looks great but I think that Forza looks better due to it being a vivid colorful bright open world.

All of my gaming has been on PS4 PRO since it was released back on November 10th. I can say that playing the open beta of Ghost Recon Wildlands that it will look amazing on your TV. REVII was also good but more comparable to Gears 4 because both are dark linear games.

The number one game that will literally blow you away will be Horizon Zero Dawn. I have played 14 hours and I just left the first area. It looks better than Forza and trust me, that's saying something.

Just be advised that on the KS8500, you have to make sure HDR is on or something like that depending on the HDMI port you're using. And also, don't force HDR. Make sure you keep it on auto. When a game correctly implements it, the TV will pick up the source and correctly display it.

On the Sony X800D, I have brightness max at 50 with HDR (TV adjusts it accordingly when it detects an HDR output signal) and contrast max at 100. Only thing I decrease is Sharpness from 100 to 70. 100 makes Horizon and GRW look worse in my opinion.

Either way, you're in for a treat. Whether or not Scorpio will surpass the PS4 PRO for my multi-platform games remains to be seen but I am expecting it too simply because it will have more GPU power and better graphical specs.

For now though, sit back, pop in Horizon ZD and enjoy it.

Well I just bought a PS4 slim yesterday of of ebay, I really didn't wanna spend pro money, what the crazy part is the guy had it listed for a Buy it Now for $115 or BO, I offered a hundred and he agreed, shipping is was $30.

I didn't pay right away cause I said why did I get this so cheap, I sent the guy a few message and he said it works like brand new. I also Said why would he jeopardize his feedback.

He answered my questions and like I said he has a 100% feedback.

I needed my SHOW fix and I think I got a steal.

What do you guys think???

Best of luck with it. Hopefully it's legit. Normally when someone has a high feedback score, but from piddly stuff, then list high dollar items, it's a scam. Hopefully it'll be legit though. If so, $100 is a great deal.
