Yeah. There is a web app. Saw it on Reddit awhile ago and immediately set my messages to friends only lol.

Of course PSN is having issues. Who would expect any less?

Yet, Sony did not release a PS3 version of The Show this year. I'm not saying that's bad, because there has to be a cutoff.

Honestly, that's going to be an issue even Scorpio. You can say that the games will pay on a standard XB1, but that doesn't mean it won't feel like trying to play a new shooter on a 5 year-old PC.

This nonsense needs to stop, let us enjoy the newer systems for a FEW years, they are already forced feed us these in-between systems already, these moves are making me question gaming from MS or Sony anymore. Really ridiculous already.
110% agree. I'm all for new hardware but they need to be reasonable about it. A new PS5 in 2018? I will just laugh because I'm not buying another system for a while after just buying a Pro.

We all have choices we can make and I have waited for a year to upgrade lately. The first year of a new console is usually high on price and weak on games.
Not to mention part of the allure for consoles in the past has been that games are weak and don't take advantage of the system at first but then the programmers start getting more and more out of the system as the system is out longer, meaning the games get better and better as they learn to take advantage of the hardware.

For those who are saying "well just don't buy it", it's not just about not buying it, it's about not getting the maximum use out of the hardware you have bought.

Let's all hope these rumors are not true and that the developers are given a chance to really learn the current hardware a bit before new hardware is coming out.

Another thing to consider, I got out of PC gaming because I got tired of the arms race with graphics cards it entails. I sure as heck don't want to have to deal with it in the console world. No I don't have to have the newest hardware but when I buy new hardware it's disheartening if just a short time later it's old news too.

That's the reason I went back to PC. These 3-4 year console "updates" soured me a bit so figured why not just go back to PC also...

I don't agree with this at all, these stupid little upgrades make no sense at all and if us serious gamers keep supporting these moves by Sony and MS we won't have time to enjoy our current consoles that some of us work hard for a living to purchase. To be honest I don't think the companies making games care all that much either, they must be saying "really another console" . Like let us enjoy our current consoles a bit longer. For myself, in the future I won't be supporting these mid cycle upgrades.

You don't have to upgrade. Well at least not in Microsoft's case. Let's see what Sony does first.

As I said above, it's not just about "not upgrading" though. When a new console comes out it involves developers then having to adapt to that console and thus, less optimization of older hardware. Not only that but game developers want to maximize their games and make them look and behave in an optimal way so that means they will focus on newer hardware over older.

Bottom line, even if you don't have to have the new hardware or care, it's going to affect you in regards to not getting your moneys worth out of your current system. I'm all for upgrades, heck I have always upgraded myself, I just bought a Pro last winter and plan to get the Scorpio too. But I'm a bit concerned about way too frequent upgrades and it seems that may be where we are heading.

As an aside, it sort of has the overall feeling, to me anyways, as the time period when Atari crashed and burned, albeit for different reasons of course. If they alienate consumers by throwing constant new hardware out there it could be the same end result.

I don't see how Sony can wait 3 years. Im fine if they do but I don't see that working out well for them. They probably should have waited on the pro honestly. I bought one. I love it but I always felt like it was rushed out to have a better VR capable console on the market.
