I have 2 PS4s. My original one and one someone let me have. I want to trade in my original PS4. But the problem is that my original PS4 has the issue where it constantly ejects and makes the eject noise. Where it didn't really happen until last year. It doesn't happen all the time, but i stopped trusting it and started buying games digitally on that console. Now I don't haven't used that console in like over 5 months.

Do you think I can still trade it in? I don't see it as a issue. I know there were workarounds to that issue

When I traded mine in at Best Buy they didn't even hook it up / test it.
GameStop usually does though.

That's what i figured. I remember Gamestop checking to see if consoles work. But i wasnt Sure about Best buy. Like i said, only problem is the ejecting issue. Beside that's it plays good. The ejecting issues is random too so sometimes no problems at all.
I will deal with Best Buy. I never liked/trusted Gamestop. I will trade older one first. But I will make sure to deactivate the console.
That way i can have have money on the account. Then trade the other one in prior to getting to getting the Pro. That way I will have around $200 in account so i will only pay $150-200 for Pro

I came home from work today to find my front door kicked in. My wife's jewelry gone, my PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox one along with a bunch of games a DVD controllers gone. Needless to say I'm bummed. Waiting to hear back from the insurance company now. Some people suck.

Yeah my wife and I just adopted two cats last month. My main concern was for them. They were hiding a bid scared but ok.

Man that sucks i feel bad for you what I don't understand is why people are too lazy to go get a job & buy there own stuff instead of stealing stuff from people

Think about how they would feel if it happened to them I hope you find the lowlifes & get your stuff back & hope they find the person or persons so you can see there ugly faces & look em str in eye & ask this question to them

Why steal? Why not go out & get a job & earn it like the rest of us & how would you feel if someone stole from you? Think of others before you steal then say enjoy free room & board!

I know it goes on for about a month b4 release so how meny days has the firmware been in Beta? As that could give us a timeframe thx guys

Suppose you don't need the tip, but check local pawn shops in the area asap. Especially for the jewelry. Insurance can replace the consoles, but jewelry is so personal and I no doubt that your wife has an emotionally attachment to those. Glad you and the fam are ok.

Yeah we have notified all pawn shops in the area. Got the insurance claim today and picked up a New Pro , heck my other one was only a month old. This is what they gave mefor replacemnt money:

PS4 Pro - $399.99
Launch PS4 - $209.99
Xbox one Forza 6 1TB limited edition console- $293.34
2 additional PS4 controllers and charging station - $174.36
10 assorted PS4 games - $425.00

So I've now got a new Pro and charging station with spare controller. That leaves me plenty for an Xbox one X , Don't need to replace the regular PS4. I made out ok but to be honest I'd much rather this never happened. Every time I leave the house now I start wondering if someone is breaking in. One other thing they left my 4TB external hard drive but they took the USB cable for it so now I have to see if I can buy just the cable.

This one was a quickie. The detective said they were most likely drug addicts looking for things they could sell fast or trade for drugs. I've got $3500.00 in Drums, $3000.00 in surround sound system. $1500.00 in guitars they didn't touch, but who's to say they won't come back for that stuff.

I'm having a security door installed on Monday and we are going to consult with a security company and get some camera's and alarms installed as well. This has been a pretty crappy experience.
