Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I upgraded to the Samsung EVO 1TB a few years ago and there's a slight improvement with some games more than others.
Okay. Well, hope you enjoy it when you do finally play it.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Any appreciable difference in dashboard navigation? I’ve read that you see a huge difference moving there.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It's definitely faster than the dashboard on the base PS4 and on the PS Store but for PS4 Pro, I honestly can't say because I never used the system with the HDD. I switched it out the same day I bought it years ago so I have only used the PS4 Pro with an SSD.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Though I’m considering making the change, I think at this point it makes sense to save that bread and stick with the HDD. I never had issues with my OG PS4 or my Pro after it so the HDD on my slim should be fine. I can take an extra 30 seconds to load some games if need be. Yes, I know updating to an SSD is SUPER easy too. [emoji1]

Yeah, unless you can get a good one for $100 or so, better off sticking with the HDD especially if you're jumping into next gen day one in a year from now.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not really surprised. Could highlight a State of Play but my bet is on the PlayStation 5 reveal event if Sony holds one like they did in 2013 with PlayStation 4. If not, then E3 2020 would probably be a guarantee.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Will just be interesting if we get 10 new games shown for the first time how many of them will be for both xbox and ps4 and how many will be for just one of the 2 or how many will be for switch.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Majority of games shown at TGA is usually multi-platform but they're also mostly Indie games. You'll get one or two AA/AAA titles but I have learned to go into TGA with low expectations.
If Batman finally gets revealed, I would imagine that other publishers would probably stay away from the show because they know Batman is going to overshadow majority of what's shown.
Gears Tactics and Ori 2 have been confirmed for the show but both are Xbox One/PC. For Switch, I wouldn't be surprised if Metroid Prime Trilogy gets revealed because MP4 is literally years away.
In general, I do wish that TGA was in late January/early February because the cutoff date is horrible. It was November 15th which amazingly was the day that Jedi Fallen Order was released and should be on the GOTY nominees as well as action/adventure. Simply, TGA should include games released in the calendar year.
But like majority of gamers, I watch TGA for the game trailers and potential reveals as opposed to any of the awards themselves.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just an FYI......State of Play is scheduled for Tuesday, December 10. Sounds like 9 am EST too.
The year is almost over, but we’ve got one more State of Play to share with you! It airs Tuesday, 10th December at 2pm GMT / 3pm CET, and you can watch live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
We’ve got around 20 minutes of new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more.
And it probably bears repeating: Don’t expect any updates related to our next-gen plans in this episode.
You can watch live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, as usual.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah i don't really care much for the awards more for the trailers. Yeah i am not expecting a lot of AAA games but could maybe see 1 or 2 and yeah may get some indie games. I really hope we get batman shown. If we don't get a batman trailer i am at the point were i don't expect to ever get one and i am going to start to lose interest because with all the rumors/tease its crazy we don't have any thing yet.
Yeah, it will be disappointing if Batman doesn't get revealed in the next week since it keeps getting teased and has been for a few months now.Comment
