This is not about live tv on the one but it does sort of have something to do with it. I hope I explain this correctly. A gaming friend and I were talking last night, we both have both consoles. Most of our friends are on Xbox live but he wants to play on the PS4 and still be on the Xbox one to chat with friends. So what he wants to know is can he connect his PS4 to the HDMI pass through without harming either system and will it work? Will he be able to see the PS4 on the screen and play games on the PS4 while still being in a party with friends on the Xbox one, and will he be able to hear the PS4 game sound along with the Xbox one party chat?

Or will a warning come up on screen saying he has ten seconds to disconnect before everything explodes! That's my thought.

Yeah, i've seen online that it works....only concern would be lag, but it's probably not bad.

It works fine. There is some lag, but depending on the game it may not matter.

Here's an easter egg for you: pre-launch, we had "TV achievements" that we cut. There was one for plugging a 360 into the Xbox One, and I think it said something like "Are you my mother?" I think we toyed with doing one for the PS4 that was something like "Sleeping with the enemy."

Ultimately, we decided against any TV achievements

Noticed my cable feed is kind of stuttering slightly since I got my dashboard update. I didn't notice until I was watching an nhl game last night but man once I noticed it really bothered me. Is this something they know about studbucket?

Hard reset fixes this for me. I've seen it start up after using apps and rarely on startup.

Use the feedback button so they can get system data about it.

Yeah, there have been some bugs with stuttering. I believe it's due to 2 things:
1) Having a game in the background
2) Other system memory management issues

I've seen mail and bug reports from other teams on this, and it seems like they know about it and are trying to fix it.

Stud has there been any talk on adding the ability to watch games from the NFL app snapped? As of now I can't view highlights or games without it being full screen.

Man, I wish I knew. They're not my team, and I don't talk to that team much or ever. With the redesign of the NFL app, it's about 50% good and 50% bad.

Are you in the Preview program? If so, some folks have the ability to file a bug. If not, here's a few options, you can do some or all of them.

1) Tweet to Phil Spencer or Mike Ybarra
2) Make a post on Reddit detailing the changes you want to see
3) Go to the official forums and post here: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/...rt/f/4274.aspx
4) Type up your feedback in this thread or PM me and hope I can route it to the right person

Ever since the update I have to reset my cable box every time I turn my Xbox on otherwise I get no sound.

Yeah, this is the most common bug we've had reported. Can you let me know what build # you are on? We have a couple fixes for this we've shipped, but not all of them are to customers yet.
