For us owners of both, how are you deciding on which system to buy games for?

I got my PS4 and launch and the XBone this past sunday so obviously I have more games on the PS4 at the moment.

Initially i was thinking single player sports games for the 4 (I already have NBA 2K14, Madden, Fifa and also Killzone).

I only have Ryse on the XBone at the moment. I was thinking maybe the big multiplayer games for the XBone because of the servers?

I want more XBone games so i was thinking of picking some up, but majority of my friends are on Sony.

I'm approaching the PS4 as the main console and buy the games I expect to play w/ friends, and most multiplats. Xbox One I buy exclusives, good deals.

I've already somewhat regretted this, and if it was on sale for cheap would consider buying my 3rd copy of Madden this year (got it for PS3, PS4) for the ability to snap TV and stuff while playing. Remote play hasn't been as compelling of a feature for me due to the controls, depending on how my friends go my whole approach could change as people begin to change their minds. A few cancelled next gen preorders altogether when Watch Dogs was delayed and are now waffling on going PS4 since that decision was made mid-DRM hysteria.

I haven't played either online so I can't speak for that. Both run pretty smooth, I'm more of a basketball fan over soccer. Can't really go wrong with either, NBA is having a lot of problems right now with rosters and patches etc.

I would say launch title exclusives only. Wait a couple of years and check the lineup of exclusives. It won't compare.

Which sport do you like most? Do you have a copy of current gen for FIFA? If so, the choice is easy. If not, pick your sport.

Do you still have a current gen system, save NBA for that and get Fifa. especially if online is important. NBA stripped most online features, and online leagues are completely broken.

Also FIFA works 100% of the time. NBA2k ehhh a solid 60% of the time. Don't get me wrong its a great game. But man does it have some serious issues with stability.

To claim FIFA has no issue is total bs - there are Youtube channel dedicated toward that. And where does your "60%" come from? Come on guys. Don't pay attention to hyperbole like this. 2K hit a reset button and there are quite a few issues that they are supposedly patching. Sucks, but understandable when you don't do a direct port up like FIFA and Madden did. Which is why I said - if you have the current gen version of FIFA, there's no point to getting the next-gen version. Beyond that, pick your FAVORITE sport and go with it. Make you OWN choice. Most of the people that will reply to you post - which frankly is off topic - will be those with a personal bone to pick. If that's how you decide what to buy, I feel bad for you. Hell, if you do that, going to a forum is the WORST place get even opinions. May as well go to Metacritic.

Right. That's why I say go with the sport he likes most. Both games represent their respective sport very well.
