Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
Just picked this up for my office: Samsung Curved 27" S27D590C
I wish I had access to the newer models but this got a lot of great reviews and they can actually deliver it to my island which is great. I might end up using it as my PS4 monitor since its a little bigger than my asus.Comment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
cancel that order now...that monitor has a broken rgb mode which crushes blacks real bad on ps4. It is a know issue and I will highly suggest to cancelJust picked this up for my office: Samsung Curved 27" S27D590C

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
I am telling you from owning that last year and returning it within 2 days. Many think black crush is great because colors pop and contrast flows but is not and detail is all lost
Connect it to the PS4 and play witcher and see the video setting in the witcher 3 game for gamma and see how crushed the blacks are when setting is in the middle.
You will see it eventually and if you dont then you are loving the black crush which is fine as many think is great like putting PS4 on FULL HDMI which is wrong but I am just giving you my opinion on a set I owned.Comment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
That doesn't sound like a big deal to me. I'm grateful that a store is willing to send it to my remote location. Plus I'm already satisfied with the Asus I posted about earlier so if it's not better I'll stick with that for ps4 and use the Samsung for my office.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but 4K.com reviews and rates PC Monitors so for those of you who are interested in that, check out the site. It's the second site I use for 4K TV's.Comment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
Im looking to get a new 4k display for the PS4 Pro and to hook up my XB1 S to (leaning towards a 4k monitor at the moment) and was wondering what some thought of the the following:
HDR TV:
4k Monitor: No HDR
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-U28E5...=operasport-20
Im leaning towards a 4k monitor due to the response time and it is what Im used to but was thinking about taking advantage of the HDR features that are offered on the XB1 S and the upcoming PS4 Pro.PSN: ckarlic
