So......I bought a Switch this week. I was in Best Buy to buy some items in my mission to make my home a smart home and I saw a bunch of them behind the counter. The cashier said they got a whole bunch in and they expected them to be gone by the next day. So I bought one along with Zelda.

Given that Sony is no longer consistently supporting the Vita, I'm going to sell my Vita and the Switch will be my handheld console. I really have no interest in hooking the Switch up to my TV since its not 4K and it looks damn good as a handheld.

Sadly, I've had the same thoughts regarding the Vita. I played that thing almost daily for 2-3 years, but once the support dried up, I haven't really used it in the last 12 months. Sad state of affairs with that handheld.

I don't have a PS4 or Vita, but if I went that route I'd have both...Saddens me to see Sony abandon it.

I'm now 100% on board with Switch though...can't wait until it makes sense for us to get one. Gonna love it on vacations, actually be able to play games when it makes sense vs. just phone (sold my 3ds)

Finally got around to diving in to Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on Wii U (my backlog is crazy long) and the game is a masterpiece. The level design, music, controls are all amazing. I really hope they rerelease this on Switch. More people need to play this game.

Really hoping they port this over to Switch. Nintendo should be porting over every single Wii U exclusive as it makes so much sense. SM3DW is another I wish they would port over but with Odyssey later this year or early 2018, I can see why SM3DW probably isn't even a consideration.

I have a stack of Wii U games that are all great. How about another hyrule warriors on switch with online coop? If they are putting pay day 2 on this they should be able to pull that off and it would be amazing. They should also have a platform Mario like Super Mario U.

Finally got around to diving in to Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on Wii U (my backlog is crazy long) and the game is a masterpiece. The level design, music, controls are all amazing. I really hope they rerelease this on Switch. More people need to play this game.

It is great worth playing just for its music alone and really the only problem I have is that its to easy. Really hoping we get a 3d DK game on switch.

I've not been able to find a Switch from any retailer in a 50 mile radius of me. Can't even order it online!

Yep that is Nintendo for you. If you didn't preorder a switch back on the night Nintendo showed the switch is it basically impossible to have one and that is why I am sure Zelda sale numbers have went up very little since launch day. NES min is even worse I never saw a option to even preorder because it sold out so fast. It is amazingly lame that it was and is impossible to get a NES min and that it is just about impossible to get a switch after a month and a half in less you got it launch day with a preorder. I can understand it being sold out in March but you would think it would be a lot more possible to find in April. I guess Nintendo doesn't want money. They are just losing Money like ever day by pissing people off.

App. Nintendo has a surplus of like 250 billon and even if their consoles and games were all failures they wouldn't be broke until 2052

I never understood their strategies when it came to launches. It's clear the Switch is their best selling console, but imagine if they had enough consoles to go around.
