And also when this system is priced as it should have been from the start, at $199.99, that is when I'll be interested!

The Wii U is still $249. Good luck with that! I'd say $300 is fair given the portability aspect since a 3DS is $199 and not nearly as powerful.. An included game would have been nice, though.

Zelda and Neon Switch preorder has shipped from Best Buy. Plan to hold off on Zelda until I am finished with Horizon on PS4. Might pick up 1-2-Switch over the weekend to see how much value Switch has as something the whole family can enjoy. I think my daughter could find something like that a lot of fun.

If I happen to walk into a store that sells video game consoles and they have a switch for me to purchase, I'll buy it.

Link has me really interested but I will admit I'm nervous about the system's life cycle and library.

Zelda and Neon Switch preorder has shipped from Best Buy. Plan to hold off on Zelda until I am finished with Horizon on PS4. How long ago did yours ship? I still have preparing on mine and I would like to change it to story pickup at midnight tomorrow if I could but I have been told the only time you can change it is after it has been shipped by calling and intercepting the order or something.

How long ago did yours ship? I still have preparing on mine and I would like to change it to story pickup at midnight tomorrow if I could but I have been told the only time you can change it is after it has been shipped by calling and intercepting the order or something.

Around 9:00 AM EST is when I first checked. Was listed as shipped (awaiting pickup) but has since updated to shipped (in transit). I have had preorders ship the day before release from them that arrived the next day, so I wouldn't stress out if yours is still in the preparing stage.

As for intercepting the order. I would be too worried about something going wrong to do that. Better to wait until it is delivered on Friday, but that is your call.

Those were the prices (close) for the Commodore VIC and Atari 2600 at the time.....even though Kmart sold the Atari for about 140 when they came out. You figure inflation, we are not paying near what we used to for games and consoles.

Well the problem is that I started trying to change it to story pick up like a week ago but it wouldn't let me and I didn't realize that I have it being shipped to my parents house just moved out a few months ago and so my parents will not be home at work on Friday. So that means it would maybe not be able to be dropped of in till sat and with my school and work schedule I may not have time to pick it up and play at all in till after class on Monday. If I could do store pick up at midnight I could then play a little before I go to work on Friday because I don't work in till 1:30 on Friday. It just sucks that I may not even be able to pick up the system in till sat and may not have time to play in till Monday. The wait to play Zelda is killing me.

My bad. I thought that was an ad for a vintage game dealer. Couldn't find a date on it.

Joycons use bluetooth, the connection issues have nothing to do with motion controls.

Another puzzling thing is that the joycons use bluetooth but the system doesn't have any support for bluetooth headsets. Kinda disappointing it doesn't have support for other bluetooth devices in this day and age.

PS4 you have to use a dongle and xbox One plug into the controller so its not something the others systems have

No we're not and that is because we have intense competition in the market among 3 vendors, something Nintendo still does not understand how to adapt to.
