Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
yeah a couple people in this thread says their Samsung TV doesn't play nice with the HDMI. I have a Samsung too and it doesn't change inputs on me like the other guys, but sometimes it will not register the HDMI properly all the way from the Switch through my receiver to my TV, so I have to power cycle the receiver. But as long as I power on the Switch first before the receiver changes the input everything works most of the time.

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Theres a very good chance mario sports titles come to switch but moreso full fledged sports ones
I'm thinking
Mario Strikers.
Mario Golf
Mario tennis
would all show up on switch at least yearly starting in 2018.
NBA 2K in order to be REAL good has to find a balance graphically and animation wise that pleases ps4 and xbox one players to be considered as an option. As much as i want a basketball game on switch i dont want a watered down version Id much rather have a secondary experince though something that exemplifies nintendo
Fifga 18 is coming but there no way frostbites gonna be used on it
My predication is that alot of the sports games coming from third partys are going to be built off the mobile versions to play like reg versions with alot of graphical set backs to run at 60fps.
IT COULD be successful as long as 2k and EAsports REALLY make it so that the games look good on switch somehow.
Lets hope they care enough to do more that ports
If they port over crap i am not supporting their triple a sports versions on ps4 at all.
I don't know how many resources they have to fully support 3DS and Switch....Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Doesn't happen on my Sony tv, but it does happen in my office where I have XBO, PS4, Switch connected through an HDMI switch. It will randomly change over to the port the switch is connected. When I dock there, I just fully power the switch off to prevent that from happening.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Lots of weird bugs, glitches, and overall poor designs with this console. Charging issues, HDMI input problems, weak battery, SD card unable to save games and Dock not working. I hope a new firmware addresses these issues and is released quickly.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
How many firmware updates have been released since March 3rd? And are any of them required to play the games? Read that the possible frame rate issues with Zelda has to do with a firmware update. Don't know if this is true but if the firmware updates are mandatory, that could be the source of that particular issue.Comment

^No hate. I love the console, just needs some obvious refinements. I just hope they don't release an updated one with a better battery this year. That'd be a real kick in the sackComment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
The main issue I find very concerning, and that needs fixed asap, is the fact that game saves are tied to the console and cannot be backed up elsewhere or moved to another system.
Can you save your game saves to the cloud/online at least? This is seriously an issue that would prevent me from buying the system.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
This system has been pretty amazing up to this point. If I had to rank my systems in order it would be
1. PS4 Pro
2. Nintendo Switch
3. Xbox One- and its falling farther and farther behind. This coming from a Microsoft fanboy. Not to mention I have almost every new title digitally on the system but I'm losing interest fast.
I'm so glad I grabbed this system. This is the system that could put my X1 to rest at least until the Scorpio comes out. Even with Zelda as my only game I honestly don't need another for the system right now. Game is something else lol. I spend more time trying to figure things out than actually questing.
Even with the few issues I would recommend this system in a heartbeat. Well played Nintendo well played.
*Forgot to mention I'm currently laying in bed next to my sleeping wife, watching the WBC and playing The Switch. One word comes to mind "Awesomeness"
