Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
I put launch title in quotes for that reason. This isn't really a new console. Any game that launches with it will also be on Xbox one. The Scorpio versions will just be better and it appears the SOM sequel will showcase that. If they can improve horizon 3 for Scorpio launch I would be ecstatic.Comment

The Castlevania clone Bloodstained has been cancelled on the Wii U and is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This game looks really proper!
The next game by Castlevania mastermind Koji Igarashi is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was pitched on Kickstarter in 2015 as a spiritual successor to the beloved gothic adventure series. With Igarashi at the helm and the promise of new, updated 'Metroidvania' gameplay -- a style that fuses side-scroller platforming with deep exploration and RPG mechanics -- the project raised more than $5.5 million from 64,867 backers. The updated platform support does come with a downside, however -- the Wii U version is being cancelled.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Yikes. They took backers money for a Wii U version and now they are cancelling that version? Kind of a bad look. At least they are offering alternatives though.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
The GameStop Official Twitter didn't do much to help their stores.
Went to 6 different ones today throughout Central Jersey and only one heard about the fact they were supposed to be getting a restock. None of them got their restock today despite the twitter saying expect them by today.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
It's honestly one of the best games I have ever played, and is a big reason why I have loved my Switch so much already. Can't wait to see what they do with Mario and Metroid going forward"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Best game I have ever played and I didn't think it was possible for the game to live up to the hype even if it was great but it did.Comment

Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
The thing about Breath of the Wild is you're going to continue having "whoa, I can do that?" moments, even if you've put well over 50+ hours into the game. Some big, some small, but they all are met with a heh and a head nod.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Yeah I have only put around 40-45 hours so far but I am still seeing things I have not seen before and really only seen like 50% of the world and really have only like 5% completed the game.Comment

The only Zelda I have ever played and completed was Link to the Past. The last Nintendo console he owned was Gamecube. For me, it was Wii mainly because of The Last Story and Pandora's Tower even though I did complete NSMB and DKCR.
Me and him are the same in regards to kind of getting over and past the Nintendo games. Not because they're bad but because we both wanted to play games that give a more complete overall package.
So for him to still be playing coming off of Horizon which is to him what Witcher III is to me this generation is saying something. Obviously, his continued interest in playing remains to be seen but if he stays playing it for a few weeks then chances are that I will equal or surpass simply because im more willing to give games in general a chance where as he'll play around 3-10 games max a year depending on the year.
As I have said, I own the PRO controller. Just waiting on Best Buy to get the console in so I can buy it and just know I have it for when I do play Zelda which as of right now, looks to be mid-May for me.
Super Mario Odyssey looked great and should be just that. I do hope that the "city" aspects are minimal because it just doesn't fit to me and when you see the rest of that trailer and all the other worlds, the "city" is the last place that I want to be. LOL.
Definitely interested in a Metroid game and still holding out hope that Nintendo ports over SM3DW and DKCTF from Wii U. Other than Zelda and Mario, im interested in Project Octopath Traveler which is developed by the team that made the "Bravely" games on 3DS.
Switch will be like Xbox One for me. Purely for the exclusives and like Xbox One, if I get one good to great exclusive a year, I won't complain. Of course, that's what everyone cares about the most in regards to Switch are the exclusives, mainly Nintendo exclusives. Anything else is basically an added bonus.
Before any of that though, first things first, have to be able to buy the damn thing!!! LOL.Comment
