Had a fit to get my hands on a V2 so I could “have the option” to dock and have docked once in 3 months. Back to the Lite I went.

Traded in some PS4/XB1 games and picked up The Witcher (Switcher) 3.

Played for a couple of hours last night and yep, I can tell I'm really going to like this game and it'll take up a lot of my gaming time.

I chose to pass on Gwent for now, as felt adding that in would be too overwhelming on top of learning the game controls and trying to follow the story.

Played in handheld mode and the game looked great and framerate was solid. The job CD Projekt Red did porting this massive game to the Switch deserves major kudos, because many thought it couldn't be done or that it'd be WWE 2K18 level bad.

So tomorrow switch will be 3 years old here is a little like recap of what i have on the switch. Most played game BOTW 250 hours. Top 3 favorite games in order. BOTW, Splatoon 2, Astral chain. don't have any wii u ports has i had a wii u unlike a lot of people lol. Own 18 games 15 physical 3 digital. I always like Physical but there are 3 i have that are digital only. 13 of the 18 games are exclusive games. I don't normally buy multi platform games on switch has i have a ps4 and games tend to look/play better on ps4 and i almost never play in handheld mode always had a hard time playing on like a 4 inch screen when i can play on a tv. Out of the 5 games i have that are not exclusive 3 of them are games that at first were only on xbox one but later came to switch but never came to ps4. Out of the other 2 one of them i got on switch because it had a physical version with dlc that the ps4 version did not have that game is hat in time has it never got the dlc on ps4. The other game i got on switch because it came with stuff on switch that the other console versions didn't get and that is star link game with its star fox stuff. After 3 years I would say switch is already a top 3 all time console for me and still has time to get higher. For only 3 years the switch already has a incredible amount of games. That 13 exclusives is already like 1 more then i have on ps4 and ps4 has been out way longer. Just need a new dk game.

Been playing Yoshi's Crafted World the past couple of weeks (mostly on weekends) and have nearly 100% the first world.

So far it reminds me a lot of Captain Toad with the level size and difficulty. I'm kind of disappointed in the flipsides so far, but overall it's fun. GoGo Yoshi was a great change of pace.

Have you played it before or is this a first run?

First run. I've had the game downloaded on my XB1 for a couple of years, but never got around to playing it. Having the ability to play docked and in handheld will help me in terms of progressing through the game.

There's A LOT to do from the jump in this game. I ran away from Gwent, lol, and then I committed to fixing up a spell and oh boy, finding the items needed for that is going to take a little bit. Haven't gotten to the point where I battle the gryphon.

I bought Switcher 3, played a little then sold a bunch of games to buy an XB1 (sold all my consoles while i wasn't working over the summer). I might pick it up again because like you, @DJ, being able to play portable will increase my ability to progress in the world.

I can't stop playing The Switcher 3. Gwent is the least of my concerns right now. Unfortunately, it feels like I have 3847472 different quests running concurrently right now...and I love it!
