    From @jasonschreier on twitter

I don't know how many teraflops (lol) the PS5 has, but this is the sentiment I've heard from several technical-minded folks. One told me it was "the most exciting hardware in 20 years." Will be fascinating to see how it stacks up to the impressive Xbox Series X specs

      About damn freaking time.

My predictions since last year were -

      Xbox Series X - 12TF GPU, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, 1TB SSD
      PlayStation 5 - 10.5TF GPU, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, 1TB SSD

The main difference I believe will be PlayStation 5 is going to have the faster and better SSD but we'll know tomorrow. We'll know if they say most powerful or fastest. I'm going with fastest.

I can see that. I agree with what the youtuber foxygameUK said on twitter with how Xbox is going the more brute force route while Sony will go more efficient route. Definitely think they will go with fastest console.

I think Sony has been had the spotlight. The silent route has been good for Sony. Even though Xbox has been way more transparent, Sony still stayed in spotlight with tons of rumors. Just checked twitter, the official post from Sony at 8am has nearly 70K likes while the Xbox post from yesterday morning has 23K.

          Also from him:
"To elaborate a bit, that quote was referring to the whole console, but the speaker emphasized the CPU (which has long been a bottleneck for gaming consoles) and the SSD (which is said to allow for some wild possibilities vis-à-vis loading times, open worlds, etc)"

I can see that. I see at bare minimum $100. For me 1 TB storage is good enough for me. I'm not a 'hardcore" gamer never have a catalog of games. I typically focus on one game at a time and don't replay certain games more than once. And if I do, it is usually years afterwards. I typically Gamefly games that I only plan to play once. So I usually uninstall after I'm done anyway. Plus I'm an offline only gamer anyway. So with the expected modular installs, I might only install campaign modes for certain games

                I'm expecting:
                -Full Specs
                -Emphasis on SSD speeds
                -More Godfall info
                -Tech Demos
-Articles and Interviews being posted alongside it
                -Console Features

Don't think we'll see full backwards compatibility. Just hope they really they'll expand PSNOW to have more PS3 and PS2 games.

This seems very reasonable. Game wise, except for Godfall, only other game I could see revealed would be if it's like Godfall - a one year timed exclusive for PS5. Otherwise, highly unlikely.

Actually, just remembered as im typing this - not expecting it but wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed Ragnarok as it's been heavily rumored that Sony has the marketing rights to the game and Ubisoft is looking to reveal it earlier than usual because well, it always gets leaked ahead of time. lol.

If Sony is able to show off a next gen version of AC or any other next gen game, that would completely shift momentum.
This is the week that GDC was supposed to be. I do believe once we see one next gen game, then we'll start seeing more come out. That's what I'm hoping. I want to see next gen games..

I do hope they have features like Smart Delivery and Quick Resume. Especially Quick Resume. Imagine if PS5 SSD is indeed faster than Series X. So it would be awesome being able to load immediately into a game to the saved state without having to see any load screen within 1-4 seconds. That would save a lot of time. Imagine playing a sports game and stopping mid game and when you power off system and start game later, you are immediately loaded into where you left off without dealing with loading the game all back up

Graphics can only get so "good" to me honestly. I'd rather see devs use the next gen hardware to make worlds more populated, to make them feel more alive then 3-4 NPCs milling around.

That's what I want. I was satisfied with current graphics, so anything more is good for me. I'm more concerned with what the games will be capable of. I want to see bigger, smarter worlds and NPCs and AI overall taking a big step forward. I want to hear along the lines of "With the new CPU, we are able to do .... That we couldn't last gen." That's what I want.

So i am expecting these things tomorrow.

Full specs and i think it will be 11.6 TFOPS
                            More info on Godfall
The controller and info about the new feed back thing
If its full BC with ps1-4 i think we will get that
I think a new studio that they bought announced
Load times examples for ps4 games comparison

I am not sure if we will see new games. I could see some new games being shown because i could see Sony doing what they did in 2013 feb with ps4 has back then ps4 had games shown for the first time. Part of me thinks they might not though because it was said it was going to be at the GDC and i am not sure if they would have went into new games at GDC. If we do see new games i think we will see Horizon zero dawn 2 and a Ratchet and clank that is not a remake/ similar to ratchet 2 like the 2016 one was to the first ratchet game but instead like a complete new ratchet game.

Nah, won't open preorders during the upswing of a pandemic. In fact I'd also begin hedging on a fall release.

Don't really care to see any newer games until closer to launch, most things now will be tech demo-ish or prone to 'downgrade!' claims as several more months of development work remain.

I still don't know what a TFLOP is but the people that do say I want a lot of them. I'm wearing my ps4 socks to work for good luck.

I'm not expecting any kind of game info I think you save that for a few months down the line. I could see them showing the difference with like Spiderman like they did in the past.
